Long term Echo player here who helped run the echo social media channels, defo a great community with some really nice people and its clear that the server has some great developers, but some of the staff are actually ridiculous who play as powerful characters, and if you befriend these characters then you pretty much get protected from any sort of ban or punishment, lately they have been banning people for no reason, and I always figured they're were two sides of the story until it happened to me. The worst part is when this happens they actually don't tell you why you get banned, it just happens because they don't care as they have a large player count. People will start finding out the truth soon and I wouldn't really recommend this place to people who want a good long term place to RP, shit is HELLA toxic and most of it comes from staff/owner. Seeing staff stream sniping and trying to meet up with Ramee and some of the new NP players was also CRAZY lmao

can definitely agree man, i killed a cop that me and my friend were trying to take hostage because he drove off under gunpoint and I was put in a ticket by flawws who took away my whitelist before he even put me in a ticket and then told us that "shooting his tires and taking him hostage" would have been a better option when we were at pillbox and I personally don't know anyone that would put their hands up and willingly be taken hostage after being shot at but that's just me man

@@icekiller9963 Flawws comes across as genuinely a nice dude to begin with, but one of the most toxic and ego driven server owners I have EVER come across. A few members of a gang broke some rules, and the whole gang was perm banned a while back including long term players who had never broken any rules,made me realise how they run things on there due to the high player count.

Grand RP is nothing like RP. Most of the players are trolls. You get smacked in the face everytime someone goes past you. You get ran over constantly. Cars flying in the air. A server honestly that appears to be ran by teenagers. You have an issue? They won't care or support you. You want clothes you will pay $30m just for bottoms. I DO NOT recommend if you want true RP.

I tried GrandRP a while ago, and from what I saw, it wasn't an RP server. It is all about how much real money you can spend to get all the cool toys. While I was in the city, which was only for a couple of hours, I was run over by players three times and NONE of them stopped to see if I was okay or to even help me. As a beginning character, I had to RUN all over the city to do things and to get money. They had no car rental or even a free scooter that could be used. I would not recommend this server unless you have a lot of extra money to spend and if you do, send it to me as I don't have any money that I can spend outside of basic needs. :)

There are free scooters, and you're given a free truck. That said you're spot on about the rest. It can be fun, but it's not an RP server, imo.

I play on grand it’s been about 3 weeks and they have a lot to work on as far as role play and the game is to gritty like people say I think that’s one of the reason roleplay is so less because everybody is tryna make money lol and it’s hard they need to update the job pay and people are always ramming your car randomly and kill you at times randomly some good things to do on server to but things have to be improved also as a american there’s a lot of non Americans on the English server so it’s hard to understand some of them which goes into role play it makes it hard if I can’t understand you hope they fix things but good video bro

Dunno if i can speak entirely on newday rp but as someone pretty new to RP(like only a few days in another server), People are hella friendly and willing to help(hehe someone gave me free food) from what I've seen so far on my 3 days on the server :D Theres not many overly expensive vehicles and alotta player-ran storefronts/businesses are hosting events left and right, so theres pretty frequent that theres stuff to occupy time. Unless you want like one of those extra fancy cars, buying a normal transportation doesnt cost that much (got me a scooter[faggio sports] for $1500 and i think I got a discount cuz I was only charged $1200 ish) There may be hidden sides to teh server I havent experienced/witnessed yet but overall first impression is hella good :)

HighlifeRP is good once you find some good people/group to play with. It can be tough as a solo but not impossible. You can find some good RP in some places. Not dealt with the admins, really, but they seem cool, high traffic server/discord, so they must be busy

I have to recommend against GTA : World. I *am* a text RPer in other games, and I've RPed in games, and D&D for years. I applied, and my application was rejected 3 times. I made the recommended changes each time with the final rejection being that my example of powergaming " is ridiculous, and doesn't reflect the heavy RP nature of the server". So, the individual(s) who were reviewing the application didn't like what I wrote. In all my years of RPing, and gaming I've never seen such heavy gatekeeping for a free mod. Or really anywhere. So be aware that they're very particular, and that likely stems from them not wanting to grow their current community is my guess.

I ended up on AltF4. It's been a great couple of months, but RP there is minimal at best. It's not a bad server, and is usually busy, but some of the people there, and it can happen anywhere, are a bit toxic. I'd recommend it overall.

Well the thing about redline is that it's not a good server. Most of the staff members don't care about the members. If you ask any redline rp player they would say its not fun. Also must mention you need to provide an ID

I have been playing Grand RP, and I pretty much liked it. The only thing that needs to be fixed is money. People are there for making money instead of RPing. Currently, playing HighLife, and it has a much better environment, functions, and scripts as well. But most players are toxic lol. Any RP server recommendations?

I will say this, I played High Life back in 2019 and I joined an upcoming drug gang, we played by the rules but did not abide to the other gang rules and the other gangs had admins in them who would ban those who didnt conform. I also had hard evidence that the owner, Jarrk, was interfering with in game events, (in my case setting spike traps during races) and when called out, banned me and because of that my gang basically all left. I will say that while they do have staff, they are slow to respond to incident reports and remember that even with clips did not do much if it included people who were like ( regulars) also , with the 1 server being at max, if you do not buy a supporter package $10+ you will almost likely never get in the server.

Highlife is not a RP server. It is a Low-Level Gang/Meth server which cannot handle the mods it is using. Tried playing there for a very long time and constant crashes, lack of RP and RP environment, rules breakings and lack of admin care/ developer skills and care make this a server to avoid if you are looking for RP.

GRP has sporadic rp but admins are in general unreliable and arbitrary. The vast majority of them is not even 20 yet and you can see that evidenced in how the server is ran. Admins greatly favour criminal play over legal play and it is felt in rules enforcement. The lead admins are generally just rude and unhelpfull.

New Day is perfect for that. I play on New Day, there are drift kits for cars which are relatively inexpensive, multiple mechanics shops, lots of scope to open your own. And the community loves new ideas so for example if you wanted to turn drifting into a large scale tournament or just have casual street drifting in the mountains you would very quickly be able to make that happen

Redline RP V3 is totally worth the App and interview. It’s not that hard it just takes a little time

Yea just gotta submit a long ass 30 minute application for each one of these servers, THEN wait 2-3 weeks just to find out you may not be accepted. Boom once you are accepted you can finally play. Im about to just say screw gta v all together, i just wanted to do some roleplay and get away from al the modders and griefers… not have to wait 3 weeks to play the damn game. No thanks
