My mom loved collecting kid's meal toys. She had TONS of them and kept them in a big plastic box...me and my sister had a lot of fun playing with them growing up. Damn I miss my mom :(. We'd sometimes go to McDonalds just to pick up a couple of kid's meals for the toys when I was an adult lol.

How could you leave out the most popular girls toy of all time... Barbie! I collected the McBarbies myself and I loved them almost as much as the real Barbie dolls they represented. And now even they are sought after by collectors. My Camp Barbie McBarbies (1994) are now going for $20 to $30 each, which is much more than the real doll is worth today. And not to forget Barbie's counterpart, Hot Wheels cars. I didn't collect those but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that some of the McHot Wheels were special versions for Happy Meals only and that was the only way you could get one.

I can't believe you didn't include the McDonalds Bionicle Matoran that came out at McDonald's in 2001. Every Bionicle fans young and old knows about them. In fact they were what got fans into Bionicle in most cases. I do remember the Inspector Gadget toys. I think I only got a few of those pieces, but never got the full set. The blind Disney bags were also kind of a pain especially when there were certain characters you wanted to get, but never got and got multiples of some characters you wanted a lot less than others. I so wanted to get a Robin Hood, but never did. :( That Disney movie doesn't get as much love as most other movies from the early era of Disney do.
