No Time To Die is my favorite movie of the decade so far (2020 and 2021). Loved it, only falls short of Skyfall in terms of Bond films for me. Skyfall is a Top 20 movie all-time for me by the way.

I avoided any conversation about Far From Home for months. Only watched 1 trailer. So fortunately everything in that movie was a surprise and it was the greatest Spiderman film of all time in my opinion.

@@captcrais101 I had a fun time with Jungle Cruise, but I will admit, it borrowed way too much from the 1951 film The African Queen starring Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn. The only real difference between the two movies is that one is set in Africa and the other in South America.

I don't hate cry Macho but it didn't seem like Eastwood was giving it his all. He's much too old for any kind of physical role and every time he did anything physical in the movie it just looked silly. Plus the kids American accent seems fake almost like he speaks normal English and they just told him to act like he didn't. I want to love the movie because it's Eastwood and I'm a huge Eastwood fan but I'd probably give it a 7/10. It's fine but nothing special. I will say this though I do absolutely love the scene where they're in the church eastwood is talking about what happened to his family and all you see is just his mouth and you can hear him tear up, it basically encapsulates the movies message I think.

It's nice to see a fellow Resident Evil fanatic actually appreciate WTRC for what it set out to give the fans. I too would've preferred a movie based around the Spencer Mansion/Arklay forest incident to flesh out lore and characters before they tried tackling the R.P.D and Raccoon City but compared to the Matrix ripoffs Paul WS Anderson gave us for 15 years I was happy as hell with how it turned out.

When I saw the critic reviews I said “wow okay so this movie is going to suck just like I thought” but the first 45mins to an hour of this movie I was sitting there like “holy fuck this movie is good wtf are people talking about” and I was genuinely scared and loved how they made this a horror movie, since the previous movies were action horror based, but the last 30 mins of this movie was terrible and I wish they didn’t want to finish the movie as quickly as they did because it felt like there was 20 mins left that they cut from the movie and it was awful. I will definitely be checking it out on Blu ray one more time

Great vid Cody! Great year for the channel. Here’s my list(I only really enjoyed 8 films I saw this year): 8.Nobody(the end dragged it down for me but I still liked it) 7.Pig(a nice surprise with my main man Nic) 6. The Suicide Squad(a nice fun addition to the DCEU) 5. Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two(I loved all of it but the final showdown) 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home(it was the best movie theatre experience I’ve ever had, but the first third of it and some of the choices Tom’s Peter made were far from perfect) 3. Batman: The Long Halloween Part One(this adaptation was perfect for me and that’s despite the animation not being my cup of tea) 2. Val(my favourite documentary film of all time! Made me cry and then watch Tombstone twice in a row) 1. Zack Snyder’s Justice League(I love this movie! Its my favourite Superhero team movie of all times and I’ve already watched it 6 times, which amounts to 24 hours of epicness!!!).

Val was such a great documentary. A very fascinating look into Val Kilmer's life. It was certainly sad to see how his battle with cancer took a toll on his health and his career, but it was also heartwarming to see the strong bond he has with his children (who are about my age) and how that's kept him going.

absolutely fantastic channel...your attitude to the Bond franchise is utterly spot on, each actor portraying Bond is RELEVANT to his generation ...i now have them all on bluray but oh for fucksake the early movies have NOT dated well!!! And as for NOBODY...well EVERYBODY in my circle of family and friends left the movie theatres with the biggest grins of surprise and satisfaction.....i now also own this and i have lost count how many times i have rewatched it....keep up the outstanding work on your channel...warm thoughts and thumbs up from Scotland..take care..!

I know the pre-Brosnan Bonds aren't your thing but I'd give Licence to Kill a chance. It's more of a late 80s action movie than a traditional Bond film.

Here's mine and I haven't seen Dune or No Time To Die 10. A Quiet Place Part 2- This was just as effective as the first film if not a little more and aside from an abrupt ending I did enjoy the expansion of the world overall 9. Halloween Kills- This one's a little surprising but I still had an entertaining time with this movie. It's a slasher sequel that lives up to its name. Did it have flaws yes but I see more positive than negative 8. Nobody- As a fan of John Wick esque style films I really enjoyed this and how it wasn't just a John Wick copy 7. Antlers- This was a surprisingly effective horror movie with really effective themes about abuse with a very unique creature at its center. I mean Guillermo Del Toro had his hand in this and it shows. 6. Zach Snyder's Justice League- This is what happens when you give a chance to a creator's vision and the fact that this film exists is an accomplishment in it of itself. 5. Malignant- This was a bonkers horror movie that I had a total blast with and you can tell James Wan had a blast making it as well 4. Shang-Chi- This was a Marvel movie I walked in with really no expectations and I walked out enjoying it way more than I thought I would. The action was great and it introduces new mythology to the MCU that I really enjoyed 3. The Suicide Squad- Absolutely loved the humor and just utter brutality of this movie with James Gunn bringing so much heart to this movie about hired villains essentially 2. Spider-Man No Way Home- What can I say but this movie was a celebration of three generations of Spider-Man and was such a crowd pleaser 1. Godzilla vs Kong- As a kaiju fan this movie was a dream come true to me. It's a film that I've been wanting to see a rematch to for so long and it delivered on all fronts. This was the first film I saw in a theater after the pandemic began. This film is also the reason that studios and theaters had faith to put films back in the cinema based on its success. This is a monster movie that truly treats the monsters as characters with Kong essentially being the protagonist. I also really enjoy the relationship between Kong and the little girl. The action and lore building was very intriguing and felt the perfect amount of classic kaiju to me.

NTtD is an amazing film isn't it. I'm still seeing so much negativity about it when its brought up online a lot of the time, the word woke, and it ruining the series for good and all sorts of nonsense. In the cinema it seemed to be over so quick I was enjoying it so much, and wouldn't have thought it was the running time it is if I didn't know. I've just sat down with my wife this evening to watch it on bluray for the first time, and even not on big screen it is just a fantastic looking movie, and the story gripped me again. I've also seen people say it emasculated Bond and dragged him down to the benefit of female characters, but the feeling at the end was of reverence for the character I thought. I loved the little call back to On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Very nice. I hope the next Bond is good too. I still see support for Idris Elba to get the role, and a few years ago I'd have supported that, but he's surely far too old now.

@@JustChrisWillDoTa To be absolutely frank with you, 007 is James Bond for me. And the best James Bond, once again, for me is (or rather was) Daniel Craig. Consequently, any other person be it a man or woman of any colour playing the official 007, would be a hard pill for me to swallow. HOWEVER, the way in which she was integrated into the story didn't feel coerced or impede its flow at all. It actually added to the story. So, colour me impressed. Please don't think of me as a hater; I am not. It's just my perspective. I hope you understand. Last but definitely not the least, Lea Seydoux was absolutely phenomenal in the film. She made it excruciatingly difficult for me to focus on anyone else every time she was in frame. Yes, it's partially because she looks drop dead gorgeous; but her acting in No Time to Time was nothing short of, impeccable.

I would say to give Timothy Daltons two Bond films a watch. Apart from being in my top 5 of all the Bond films, his take on Bond is similar to the way Craig portrays his Bond.

My favorite movie this year was Spider-Man NWH. Simply because I thought it would be terrible. I didn’t see anyway they would make this movie not suck and holy sh*t I was so wrong. I also loved Nobody and Shang Chi.

1. No Time To Die (they did a great job making Bond a character that goes through things in the Craig era and that he grew. He was an excellent Bond and had great arc. The first great final Bond film.) 2. Don’t Look Up (I loved the satire movie. It’s dark and funny. A lot of fun too despite it being ridiculous) 3. Godzilla VS Kong (I have been anticipating this rematch for years. But this so dumb, it was fun. It delivered on everything to me. It’s not a great film. But it’s so much fun.) 4. Nobody (felt the same way as you Cody on this film. Odenkirk was awesome in this). 5. Dune (a beautiful looking film that I want more of) 6. A Quiet Place Part II (a surprising sequel to a film that didn’t need one and gave it purpose) 7. Malignant (an original horror film that is a lot of fun and messed up) 8. Zack Snyder’s Justice League (this movie surprised me. I didn’t think we’d get this until another 5 years. It was just awesome. Long….but we’ll put together and better than expected.) 9. Spider-Man: No Way Home (I had low expectations for this, but it surprised me emotionally and satisfied in a menacing way) 10. Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (another MCU film that blew me away. I’m a sucker for martial arts. But like Sean Chandler says, I wish it didn’t have as much spectacle for the MCU. Street level intensity especially in martial arts is beautiful. But it does pay homage to martial arts films that I love like Crouching Tiger and Hero)
