Great reviews, but there's no separation between previous title end and new title start, creating confusion and cognitive dissonance. It's better to speak up the intro synchronous to the title change.

10: Bad monkey (7.3 on IMDB) Managed two episodes, tediously slow. Not as funny as it thinks it is. 9: Sunny (6.8) 8: Foundation (7.6) Watched first season. It was alright, didn't bother with second. 7: Slow horses (8.2) I tried this, couldn't get past the first couple of episodes. 6: Land of women (6.2) 5: The big cigar (5.8) The trailer looked bad, scores seem to back up my impression. 4: Time bandits (6) 3: The big door prize (6.5) Doesn't look appealing. 2: Franklin (6.9) 'Merica! Probably the only people that will watch this, are Americans. 1: Dark Matter (7.7) If this is the best Apple has to offer, then we are not missing much.

Nothing even comes close to Ted Lasso. These shows are just too strange for me. I think Apple TV needs to focus on creating a really good cop show. My favorite was Homicide years ago. Second best was probably The Shield.

Most of these shows are just too bizarre for me. Apple TV set the bar pretty darn high with Ted Lasso. Nothing else has even come close.

They all have their targeted audiences, and they design the language style, aesthetic, etc, deliberately for their targeted audiences. For ex, Apple tv targets mostly high-education white collar city viewers; Netflix mostly attract mostly low-education rural citizens. Apple tv probably won't resonate with you if you are not their targeted audience.
