Pegasus Exclusif is my all time favorite fragrance and very addictive for me , GREAT video. PDM is the best niche house in my opinion however I was disappointed in Godolphin as it smells similar to Tuscan leather as you said.

i have samples of both and i find oajan to be the better one out of the 2. i find it to be more welcoming and less provocative than Carlisle. Carlisle to me just smells like a sweet creamy nut haha

Yep, I also believe the ï in Althaïr signals an “Al-ta-EEr” sound. Ultimately, pronunciation will probably become whichever each of us prefers (just like Oajan or Haltane) haha Looking forward to your take on that one!

There was a time where i was stuck between Oajan and Carlisle, but I def find Oajan to be my preferred scent. Oajan, in comparison to Carlisle, is less proactive and more welcoming, whereas Carlisle, to me, is just too creamy and nutty. This doesn't take away from the fact that Carlisle smells rly good, but I just think Oajan takes the cake.

Oajan and Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur seem a bit similar as well. Pegasus Exclusif is better than the original I feel. There was a note in the original that turned me off in the dry down, which is absent in the Exclusif version, it also could be how the notes come together in the dry down that makes me this this way.

When I tried Haltain, the sales rep told me it smells like Oud for Greatness . So I said to myself, why bother trying Oud for Greatness if I didn't like Haltain. Few months later, I tried Oud for Greatness, and I thought its actually better smelling than Haltain with a touch of similarity to that one.

I would get some parfums de marly, but after I saw a guy over in Europe, saying he traveled far to buy a bottle of Layton, and he said that the fragrance barely lasted 5 hours, I stay far away from this house. The concentrations are becoming weaker is also another complaint that people say about this house.

If your going to listen to them, listen to me... Your missing out, it don't matter if they got weaker then before they are still awesome. And he probably needs to let his bottle macerate most PDM last 8H min and many can go to 12-16 as a detectable skin scent (5-8 sprays). If you talk about cloths its days or though the wash, that's why I only spay on skin for all my scents. Order some samples or just blind buy I haven''t really been disappointed yet from them (common hyped ones) except Haltane. Others like it way more then I do, probably my lowest one I have worn, prefer OFG.

Haltane cannot be even compared to Oud for greatness, yes they do share the same dna but oud for greatness is much superior, better blended and performs waay better than haltane. Herod new formulation is very weak:(
