Hey what do you think about collecting damaged versions of cards?? Since most vintage cards are too expensive in prestine condition, i feel in the future the slightly damaged will also raise in value to profit, but enough to still be affordable for normal people to buy. Is it worth to invest?

Personally, I wouldn't purchase damaged cards unless it was for a binder collection of some sort. Other than Charizards, I'm not sure what market there is for damaged cards as far as an investment.

I have like 45 different versions of Charizard cards from base set to recent sets.. basically missing 1st edition and shadowless now.. may put it all in a display case and sell it as all charizards ever created. just wonder if that sorta collection will have more value in 20 years or even now.

I collect damaged cards and let me tell you I have made a massive profit. I'll buy very hard to find cards that are MP/HP for $1.00-$5.00 and sell them for $50+ there's always profit to be made. I bought an all gold zekrom from Legendary Treasures for $2.50 and got $51.00 for it.

It goes legendary collection, legendary collection, legendary collection, legendary collection. Yeah they are reprints but the pack art has to count for something and the reverse holo is the best, jokes aside this is a great list. I recently looked back at neo rev for some of the artwork and had to grab some minty cards before they blew up anymore. Also for jungle, don’t forget about the secret rare ivy pikachu

You def skipped over most the the ex and mid era when doing this. Sets like TRR (yes got honorable mention), Crystal Guardians, HGSS Base, Call of Legends and so on should have had placements over some of the more meh sets like Fossil and some of the Neo sets. CoL is a set that is only 9 years old and has cards that are 5k+, some of the best artwork in the hobby, a modernized spin on neo destiny and a very scarce set.
