I found my old pokemon set at my moms in a very well kept pokemon binder. They all look mint or near mint condition. Found 8 1st edition cards (including Charizard holo 1st edition). I also have 11 more charizard cards that aren't first edition but a couple holographic. It's about 230 cards lol time to do some researching and grading! So freaking stoked!!

At Japan in a restaurant, they allow you to choose something from a box full of toys, knickknacks, books, etc... I chose this really nice condition 1996 Pokémon Red solitaire card pack (there was another one in the box but with Pokémon Blue) and it was just solitaire with vintage Pokémon designs in the middle of the cards. When I moved from my old house, I saw the pack of cards and decided to trash them. One year later, I find out that they’re worth over $500. That restaurant gave me $500 and I threw $500 away.

So my mom's boyfriend was addicted to Pokémon and he had thousands of cards. One day his dad came to him and said he needed to clean his room or the stuff on the floor would go to the trash, so he cleaned up his room and left the things that he doesn't really like in a pile on his floor. Reminder he only had half an hour to clean his room. So his dad came in 30 minutes later and went to look under his bed and found all the stuff he was going to keep. Then his dad threw away his ps1, his Nintendo 64 and even his Pokémon cards. Then he burned them. The next morning he was watching the news and there was a banned Pokémon card because of the symbol. They said they where selling those cards for over $23,000 dollars for it. And he turned to his dad, sobbing, and his dad asked why he was crying, he said, " I had three of those!!! **sobs more** and that is how we are so poor.

They see an untouched misprinted Pikachu card that's worth 5000 dollars and only want to pay u 100 If that for it. @@dissentfps all of my cards are hollow and reverse, legendary pokemon mainly I got new, mewtwo, charizard, vensuar oh-ho, kroyger, moltrea etc and several different versions of each card altogether around 125 cards from the newer sets from 2005 to current also got old school cards from the 90s including two perfect condition ancient news that u could only get if u went and saw the first pokemon movie. Also based off eBay prices which can fluctuate I came too the 2500-3000 dollar range but I'm more interested in legit prices since eBay let's u name ur own prices and card scalpers make insane prices also non of my cards r currently graded but if they were I would the price to increase to some degree.

Stars still stand for Rare in the current TCG. But they are not considered as valuable or rare unless they are a ultra rare or secret rare. I made a video on the subject a few days ago. It may help.

Lines as you mean a crease? If so it just drops the value, but it would still be a lot to some collectors. Now if we're talking about a line or line's , thats the fossil that's the error I think, I might be wrong as I have done no research into this but going of the information given I guess that's what you want for it to be valuable. Not crippled like a hair size line though the fossil. Like I said no research done but I thought this might help you.

What I find works best is to use Trollandtoad.com Type in the name of the Pokémon followed by the number/number at the bottom right hand corner. Troll and toad is often a bit more expensive, so if you find one that is priced high make sure to check another website and compare the 2 prices

hey i have this pokemon cards deck which i bought back in 2015-16, it says "Pokemon XY FLASHFIRE" and it includes a few 'good-looking' cards like black kyurem, white kyurem, reshiram and a silver tranquill card. I don't know their significance, I don't even know how to play them lol.

You didnt say anything about the jungle misprint cards. Several Jungke cards were printed without the jungle symbol on them making them much more valuable
