@@devingilliam5601Florentine Is easily the best SMG in BL2 UVHM as most enemies are not protected against shock damage and slag adds X 3 to the damage, one weapon solution. Most good BL2 players have a bee shield but only equip it for certain bosses etc. as mob fights it is never charged and is weak defensivly Leg Cat mod + Antagonist Shield + Florentine is only weapons i used on Maya LVL 72 + OP8 The only character i don't use either of those on is Salvador, who is grog+unkempt as primary combo

@@9Mtikcus Oh I agree it's incredible when it comes to mobbing and a high level playthrough of the game. Much better than the Slagga in my opinion. Shreds Shields and slags them and you can switch to whatever ya want when you've depleted their shield. Very good weapon.

Florentine is def a top 5 gun for krieg. Perfect for stacking, setting yourself on fire, and can proc blood bath. Get an smg ammo relic and it's the only gun you need

Babymaker is best used while you are strafing and back pedaling, charging forward have the potential of the baby spawns to blow up and downing you. Sandhawk's weakness is that it sucks against small and highly agile enemies, even if you have the flying prefix

it would be basically the same except for the weapons you cant get in normal or tvhm, i mean you can get a hellfire at lvl 7 and a sandhawk with lvl 15, so if you play through the dlc with 2-3 characters per mode, you can basically use the sandhawk from lvl 15 until op10.

The blotch is mad underrated, on maya with the legendary cat com, bone of the ancients and the bee im dealing as much damage as with the sandhawk. Also the ammo usage is a lot better, so you can kill more enemies with one mag (by far)

The "Social B1tch" SMG is especially nice, because it has slag. It works great with Maya with the CAT class SMG mod and especially if you have the acid/bullet feature enabled. One they get slagged Maya's acid cloud makes short work of them.

Lauscaux is the most reasonable pick. Easiest to farm, excellent damage only negative it has no elements. Bone Shredder is a good SMG for elements.

While the sandhawk is obviously a great gun I just hate using it. Something about the delay between bursts and the actual fire rate of the ones that I have just feels really weird to me. I would much rather just farm an unkempt Harold or a slagga than go all the way through the captain Scarlett's dlc. Hell, I have a slag bitch that just carries me through UVHM

Bee hawking gets real fucking boring after a while. I'm still able to use a level 80 sandhawk and still do higher damage than most other SMG's that are OP10.

There is no delay between bursts with the sandhawk, you can fire it as if it was full auto if your timing is perfect

Baring in mind I've got no friends that play the game so play solo and have beaten pretty much all the raid bosses (just need to do haderrax and vermovorous (not sure he even counts as a raid)which obviously requires people on your party)

Florentine? Its dual element gimmick is not that good, the splash damage bonus only affects the slag and not the shock element. Its a Maliwan so expect it to have a passable accuracy due to the weapon sway. I think Florentine is overrated.

I absolutely agree. The Florentine is my favourite weapon in borderlands 2. You can use it to destroy the shields of enemys and slag them, than switch to an other more powerful weapon to finish them of. And the damage of the weapon is not soo bad, especially with bee equipped

My personal favorite is the Orc from dragon keep, my personal favorite prefix for it causes it to become the Aggressive Orc to let it reload faster to let me deal more damage to get more boosts.

My favourite smg has to be the bane. It’s just so good and it’s a quest reward so you don’t have to farm too much for it. Also, it does quite a lot of damage as well as being a maliwan smg so it is quite accurate after a few shots

I'm still "new" to Borderlands, and by that I mean I played the game for a month 8 years ago, then stopped. 3 of 4 months ago, I've gone all in and am level 50, preparing to finish TVHM. For me, none of the Legendary SMGs feel AMAZING! For me, I think I'd have to rank the Lascaux as a top #3 gun, because of it's absolutely insane stats, its location and acccessibility as a noob who's struggling, and for the amount of levels it's actualy useful for. I think I continued using the Lascaux for at least 7-10 levels before the damage completely fell off (could be remembering incorrectly), but that's how I remember it. If we're talking strictly Legendaries; #1: Slagga #2: The Bitch #3: Hellfire (In no particular order -- and don't forget the Lascaux. Depending on my level, and how far into the game I am, a Lascaux can be a revelation! Don't sleep on the Lascaux merely because it's a 'blue' item with insignificant rarity ;)

*SALIWAN, HOOO!* I love zerking with any and all Maliwan SMGs, especially E-Techs. I like Dahl and Maliwan sights on any and all SMGs. Plain ol' ir0n sights would be fine if all of them lined up right 100% of the time. Tediore barrels don't have front sights (true for all weapon types) which is just insulting. When it comes to standard-issue non-red-text SMGs, the Hyperion Presence (Dahl barrel) is one of the best for zerking. Hyperion pistols and SMGs benefit from Dahl barrels because it means a double-dose of recoil reduction. It's most noticeable while zerking. Also, I've always liked the Bone Shredder "Mk.2" just for nostalgia's sake (great for any character). The Bandit Bone Shredder splits the diff between the Tediore Bone Shredder ("Mk.1") and a BL1-style Double Anarchy. If you get a corrody one, you can wreck droids for days.

Hyperius only drops Retchers and sometimes Evolutions for me. Never seen either a Tattler or Norfleet drop from him. Easily the worst raid boss to farm since he only drops Retchers and adaptive shields.
