If you want some shorts in more basic colors the Nike Yoga Dri-FIT shorts are nice. They’re super lightweight and flexible (since they’re yoga shorts) and they’re good for really tall skinny guys since they’re a bit longer (but still above the knee).

Gap terry sweatshorts are my jam. Just listed a bunch of clothes on eBay and I’m using those sales for some fresh new shorts. The gap easy shorts is great. another amazing pair of shorts are the kith nylon shorts (you can find them in their summer 22 collection). a bit pricier than most pairs in the video but they are fire! i size up in them, from L to XL. they can be worn as both shorts and swim shorts, worth a pick up
