I've been biking in the US my whole life and my #1 thing about Amsterdam is the cycling infrastructure. I never had any problems getting around and it provided such a pleasant way to move around the city. Can't recommend enough.

@@t.k.6481 hey it was lovely, although I only really spent one night/day in dam before going to Eindhoven. I’d recommend flying pig hostel for somewhere fun to stay and then rent a bike and go to Amsterdam Bose/various cycle routes around the city, it’s cheap to get a bike and easy to get around ☺ have fun!

I didn’t like the fries from the place on Amstelveenseweg, they were semi cremated, Amsterdamse Bos is good except for the sodding insects in summer bloody mugen, to become a pro at making stroopwaffels use toffee instead of caramel.
