Excellent list. Some others that could make my Top 10 list are By Kilian Back to Black / 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco Spirits, Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque, Creed Tabarome, Kerosene Broken Theories. There are also several great inexpensive cheapies that won't make the list, but are great low-cost tobacco scents such as: Lanvin Avant Garde, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, Michael Kors Michael for Men, Aramis Havana, Tom Ford Men, Oriflame Architect, Versace Man, Versace Dreamer and CK One Shock.

I'm wearing Herod today but Tobacco Vanille is my favorite. it's a lot more pronounced and spicy than Herod but I think Tom Ford knocked it out of the park with this one. God bless

Get Herod on a split is always, always, always my recommendation for people wanting the highest level of tobacco/vanilla in a fragrance. A long time ago I got mine in a 3-way split (42ML) for $50! Now I own a bottle and a back-up bottle because I love the scent so much.You can't go wrong with Herod in the (colder days of) fall/winter guys!

I don't understand why everyone praises Herod. I think it smells okay but I don't get a lot of Tobacco. I get the same Tobacco note as I get in D&G The one. it just smells synthetic. Tobacco Vanille on the other hand is an absolute masterpiece. my number 1 winter scent of all time. great video Steven! you should do a top 10 gourmand list!

Dry down on Herod has to be my favorite scent. Day's later I can smell it on my jacket or even couch pillows after a whole work day relaxing at home. I'm down to my last few wearing's of Pure Havane and just been adding 3 sprays when I am wearing Herod.

Oh gee my favorite tobacco scent? It is a toss up between Tobacco by I Profumi di Firenze and Volutes by Diptyque. But if I had to just choose one, well today the house of I Profumi di Firenze would win... but tomorrow is another day. It’d be interesting to hear your take on The One Royal Night. Some reviewers are applauding it, other say there’s not enough difference with The One EDP. I like The One EDT, I love EDP and I adore Royal Night. Granted, there’s not a world of difference between EDP and Royal Night but it’s a very noticeable difference and it turns a great fragrance into a masterpiece. No one seems to be exactly sure what the extra note is, some claim it’s oud, although it’s not listed as an ingredient, there’s also that note that gives fragrances like Marly that extra oomph, could be ambergris, at any rate it also improves sillage and projection, not that those were too shabby with EDP.

I am currently wearing a fragrance by an Independent Perfumer and her Perfume house is called Kyse Perfumes and she has a fragrance called "J" it is a really nice aged smelling tobacco with a very nice smooth vanilla hint its a really nice frag..I ordered a frag from here and I got "J" as a sample and I immediately ordered a full bottle of it because I liked it so much.

Tobacco oud TF I like but the problem w that one is that if you have any remnants of the scent on your clothes, it smells like ass or some dried saliva. Dont ever spray it onto outerwear thusly.

I smell a very prominent tobacco accord or scent in Spicebomb. It may be synthetic but it does stand out clearly to my nose. My favorite tobacco is Kilian's Back To Black Another one I enjoy in Hikde Soliani's Bel Antonio

Sorry for the late response red I may be wrong but when I put my Dunhill desire red it smells like tabaco or Smokey vibe please correct me if I'm wrong I'm an up-and-coming colonge reviewer I have lots 0f normal colonges cheap ones I don't know if I have niche I also have PS it smells so good is a nice scent very creamy with that smokey vibe to and I have Hanoi Mori that's smokey all the way it's quite a Jem I could be wrong again but I also love and have Salvatore Ferragamo oumo delish and that also has a smokie tabacoey vibe to it to.

Great list. I haven't tried most of them though but they sound interesting... Out of the ones I have smelled that I can remember.. My favorite was probably DG pour homme vintage.. And dreamer vintage.. also liked tobacco vanille but its a little heavy and thick.. Chergui was also nice,, although that one gets a little to thick on me as well.. Hmm sure pure havane was nice as well.. Can't think of any others off the top of my head. I do like the tobacco note it seems.

Great list. I have noticed a trend of women wearing the tobacco or boozey scents. I personally love them in Fall and Winter. I own the Tom Ford, but want to branch out. Would you consider some or all of these unisex? Thanks!

Great video. Being a cigar smoker, I love the smell of cigar tobacco and Spanish cedar (which is the preferred lining of humidors). I'm a newbie to fragrances so not much of a nose yet.
