Mateusz Nowak I love Saul, but I actually think this was the worst season. Not a bad season, but worst as in least favorite. Nothing happened. Ever since Mike took an entire episode finding the tracker in the gas tank, Vince has stretched the episodes and series like a stick of bubble gum as far as he can without breaking it.

Season 4 was a huge step down from the others. Nothing happens, things don't lead anywhere (the hummell doll thing, Saul getting robbed and threatening the bandits, Huell's arrest... All just felt like filler with no real impact on the plot). The show also stopped doing its own thing and just served as a connection to Breaking Bad.

The things you mentioned led to "Saul Goodman" creating his criminal network and making his name known on the streets. Also, Huell's arrest was pretty important to the Saul/Kim relationship and Jimmy making the final decision to change his name as a lawyer.
