I agree with the comments about Redwing boots. I thought about buying some for over 5 years. Every year I would need a new pair but never gave in to spending the $280 that they would cost me. Well I ended up buying a pair of the Redwind Chukka work boots, which aren't their most rugged boot by any means, but theyve already lasted me longer than every other brand besides Tony Lama. The real reasons I fell in love with them is #1, for the comfort. I go on walks with my girlfriend and don't need to bother changing into sneakers to do so. #2, I can take them into any of their stores to get them cleaned, conditioned, and have new laces put in for free whenever I want. The only problem I've ever had was when I broke off one of the eyelets for the laces. But the store reimbursed me in cash when I had them fixed by a very good shoe repair store down the street. I couldn't be happier with Redwing boots

When I was a young man on a budget I used to buy wolverine and the soles went bad after a year. I decided to try timberland "pro". Three months in, i was doing a tile job a knelt down to start laying tile and the sole completely split at the ball of my foot. Ever since 2006 I've worn Redwings 2406 's and never had a problem. Well worth the money.

The Danner Vitals are amazing for land surveying. They’re snake proof, water resistant, ankle support with the 8”. Amazingly comfortable, and they last years if not almost a lifetime if you take care of them immediately after work as if you step into shin deep water. Also, 6-800 gram insulation. There’s a couple of hiker boots, made by Danner, that are for hiking, and those are the Skyridge series and the Mountain 600. Danners are not cheap. So, if you’re low on cash; I’d tell ya that Rock Rooster are next in line

Been wearing timberlands for about 10 years now working in all times of Scenarios and are by far the most comfortable boot to wearfor me. I havent tried red wings yet amd thinking of giving them a go but keep go back to the Tim’s. only thing I can say about them is I’ve worn them out pretty quick and the inner liner has come free mucking it a pain taking them off now with the new pair I have I use and show horn to put them on to help avoid that. Also having Quadruple E wide feet they’ve fit my foot the best so far with the soft leather. I’ve changed a lot of ppl at my work the switch and all haven’t picked another boot since.

I recently tried the Georgia Muddog boot at the potash production mine I work at and by far the best boot I’ve had working at the site. Constantly dealing with brine water and mud, salt, and constant climbing up and down stairs and ladders, these were extremely comfortable, Feet felt dry and warm even though I was working with water and in puddles. The mix of rubber around bottom part of the boot with a water proof leather top part of boot made them light weight and comfortable all day, and at 170 dollars well worth that price.

I’m on concrete usually 10-12 hours a day , 5-6 days a week so for me it’s Danner Workman , Wolverine Durashocks , Magnums , Redwings , Timberland Pros , I currently have all these , I wear a different pair every day , I personally think that’s better than wearing the same pair every day , it’s just my personal opinion , but I’ve been doing it several years & don’t have any feet issues , years ago I wore cheap wal-Matt work boots , by the end of my shift my feet & legs would be hurting terrible , so I ask the guys I worked w/ what type of work boots they wore , they said Wolverine Durashocks , so I bought a pair & the very first day no more pain , good quality work boots are a must , my two cents worth

The best work boots ever made was red wing boots 20 to 40 years ago. The shoes and boots of that era was from a design that came from european shoe cobblers from a old school. These people knew how to make shoes. The boots was made on a platform not a cheap molding process that the shoe rests on today. One of the last examples left is the red wing 202 moc toe, notice the sole on this shoe. Not only this, most companies no longer offers narrow width boots. A lot of people are not aware of what width they should be wearing ! For years my brother and I was wearing E width shoes and found out we had B narrow width feet !

I ordered a pair of these shoes 9-9-2020. The per the delivery company, SF Express, stopped delivery as, “2020-9-15 01:01:05 Customer hasn’t pay off related fees. We will follow up.” I presumed the customer was Indestructable Shoes as they chose SF Express as the delivery company. When I contacted Indestructable Shoes the response was “I’m sorry to hear you are being asked to pay import/custom charges. Please note these charges are being imposed by your country, not by us.” OK, however, any such charges were not disclosed in the order process, there was no notification that delivery was being held for these fees, it was only discovered when I began to research tracking to find a delivery date and time for this purchase made 9-9-2020. Has anyone else had their delivery of shoes from this company stopped for these fees? Did Indestructable Shoes not know of the Import/Custom charges when they agreed to sell them to me? Do all seller/manufacturers not include these in the purchase price? I know we are all paying the tariffs, duties, custom fees on every imported product, dah, they are not punishment to the other country, US consumers pay them, however I have never seen a consumer being asked to pay these fees separate from the purchase price. BTW no one has told me the amount owed. No party has told me what it takes to complete delivery. I no longer care. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and Indestructable Shoes for a refund, this could takes many weeks. These look like great shoes if one could get a total purchase price and a completed delivery.

Cat are my go too boot I work in a saw mill inside and outside very wet and muddy in winter and I swear by the cat device boot very light comfortable two years of wearing and still water proof and still and haven't fallen apart, I have a new pair ready to go, I've ordered the cat 8" premier hopefully they are just as good.

Drew May Music are they really better than all on this list for you?? Which model do you have?

@@markdavis6066 My old company used to pay for new boots every year because we would put them through the paces so I got to try a lot of different boots. Red Wings to me are like Harley Davidson. They will perform for you but you're paying a big premium for a name. Personally, I'd buy the timberland pros for half the price because I think they hold up just as well and are much more comfortable. Granted, I think red wing will fix them up (not sure how much) for you after they wear down so if you want to keep them a long time that may be something to consider. I just don't want to wear the same boots for 10 years or more because they really start looking bad and there are new materials being produced that will increase the performance and/or comfort of what you're wearing.

Continued....keene's are heavy...Cats are Heavy as well. I have returned to Carolina's # 7528 it's a brute. A tad heavy but very comfy and takes a bit to break in. Lots of toe room if you wear an 11 D you'll want to go 11 wide . I've tried half a dozen newer styles in the last 10 years. For overall performance I'd have to say they are the toughest. For a foreign made boot I'd have give em a 9 rating.

What would you recommend for warehouse work?
@american_chevy6164 жыл бұрын
@Mark Isabeast try being on your feet in a warehouse for 12 hours a day 60 hours a week. Nothing special my ass
@american_chevy6164 жыл бұрын
@Mark Isabeast cool story, all warehouses are different. You would last 48 hours in my warehouse in shoes.
@american_chevy6164 жыл бұрын
@Mark Isabeast so why are you trying to mock someone for working in a warehouse. I've worked construction my entire life. And moved to warehouse because of back and knee problems. I would still run circles around you. You most likely wouldn't last a month where I work. Go away troll

@Mark Isabeast that made absolutely no sense. Go away troll and grow up

Good boots but I just don't like boots with laces and my preference are flat toes
