Senegal should have gone to the semis instead though.

The juventus president/sporting director whom fixed referees for the games, was desperate to make a change favourable for themselves ahead of a very important game vs Ac Milan. There was a recorded audio call of the directors reaction and disappointment when he found out the referee for that game was perluigi collina, arguably the toughest and law abiding referee there was in the world. It was hilarious watching his plan backfire that badly

Uh, no! Suarez was red-carded and Ghana missed the PK that was awarded. Uruguay was a man down for the remainder and then won it on PK's. Suarez' hand ball was a good play in the sense that it's better to give up a PK than a sure goal (kind of like American football where a defender realizes it's better to take a defensive holding/pass interference penalty than give up a long TD). If Suarez had gotten away with it (which initally appeared the case sense the ref didn't see it, the side judge had to tell him) and no PK awarded, then I'd agree it belongs in the list.
