"Parents have their kids locked up and swung around in metal birdcages." If this hadn't been a video about theme park rides I would have assumed that to be some archaic form of punishment.

@@smurvje I haven't been on a lot of fairs but I've ridden these once or twice and they're pretty fun, you get like floater airtime but standing with no restrains, and it's fun when you hang onto the ceiling bars. The tweety escape is definitely an example where theming and immersion wins out over literal-minded thrill-number-crunchers. ... mainly because you have to view it from the kid's perspective. - So you could either go on one of the other kid-rides at the park that are clones of other similar "go around the center post" rides with a looney toons mascot stapled on it (honestly not memorable ... maybe they had a taz devil ride with jeeps? can't remember) OR - you could hop in a bird cage in a ride called Tweety Bird's Escape, and pretend like Sylvester was gonna get you and you were escaping In a literal-minded sense, yeah it's weird. From a kid's perspective - yeah of course the bird cage ride's a winner.

The first 9 attractions look quite bizarre but also impressive and grand in their own ways. But then at number 1 there is Tweety’s Escape 🤣. Awesome video and I’d definitely love to ride some of these attractions such as the rodeo, the mad house, and the topple tower. Definitely will avoid the Ferris ring though as it seems like it could legitimately be unsafe.

I’ve ridden a ride almost identical to the Aviation Training Ride and it was awesome. We used to have a ride called the Solar Flare here in Edmonton at West Edmonton Mall and it was our favourite. The only difference I can see is that the Solar Flare had the standup ride config at both ends and had more standard seating at all the other positions. Both were fun but we preferred the standup positions. It was actually a very smooth and fluid feeling ride that gave a neat sense of flying. We were disappointed when they took it away.

Wow, I remember the tumbler. It was at Astroland in Coney Island Brooklyn. I was just a kid at the time, but I remember standing there and watching it with my father. Forgot what year that was, but it wasn't there long. It was close to the diving bells that they had there if anyone remembers.

@@skstonesmith My son made fun of me for being "too old" to do the spinning rides for years. Then, he hit 13 and puked all over one. They literally had to hose it down. Good times😀😀😀

Wow never heard of a construction themed park. That's a real cool concept. And I gotta try that flat ride in Spain!

I know the exact location of some of these rides. They operate daily in Nopesville. I was going to ride them once, but sadly, had to go on a trip. I remember now, I left on the 3:15 to F-thatastan. Great channel though, just found you and subbed !

I've been on two of these rides. The topple tower and the madhouse. I believe we went on the topple tower in Denmark, but I could be wrong. We were all really excited to ride it because it looked so unique and it was a really fun ride. The madhouse is one of my absolute favorites! Especially Vila Volta located at Efteling in the Netherlands!

I've been in the Dutch madhouse several times! I don't get to visit theme parks often but when I do get to visit the Efteling I always insist on going there. It has the most beautiful music ever! If you wanna hear it, search for Villa Volta Music :D

7:30 I've been on a miniature version before, it was called a bug house and can only fit 8-10 people in it at a time. The interior was painted to look like a park and it had bugs painted on the inside.

The rotation room ride takes me back to my childhood. We used to go to Dutch Wonderland all the time when I was a kid and they have a similar ride called the Dutch Wonderhouse. It's cool cause from the outside, the whole barn that you sit inside is rotating in a circle.
