I’m so glad they gave Anson Mount another shot at playing Black Bolt after that disappointing Inhumans show. He was the only cast member that felt accurate to the comics. Anson had such a commanding presence without any dialogue, he was able to convey so much emotion using just his body language.

He can destroy you with just a whisper from his mouth". Black bolt is a crappy character. The most important way an audience can relate to your character is through dialogue and they cripple this character by making his superpower take away his ability to speak. Secondly, his only use his to gas up the power level of stronger villains. He's not underrated at all. Anyone's who thinks critically recognizes the flaws in that characters design and execution

You know, there were parts of the show I thoroughly enjoyed. The cast was good! I seriously felt like there was a connection in the team. But the script was so awful. So, I guess what I'm saying is, I loved how the Inhumans got a moment on the big screen. And Im beyond happy we saw a Black Bolt in MoM. I'm SO hoping we them again. The only time I had heard about the Inhumans was when I had gotten the Marvel Universe Annual once, since my main exposure to anything Marvel Super Heroes was watching Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, and later on the X-Men cartoon. The only actual Marvel comics I had was GI Joe: ARAH and later on the Wolverine comic.

Blackbolt is one of my favorite heroes of all time! What really solidified that for me was the novel "War of Kings”. Such a sweet story and you got to see him and Gladiator (my other favorite hero) go head to head in battle. Highly recommend if you’ve never read it!

BlackBolt is under rated and written like canon fodder. Imo his best attribute is Control of the electrons via his vocal area to enhance his innate abilities of strength, flight, fields to repel physical and mental attacks, and of course his electron blast, master blow, and scream.

i assume their is going to be another multiverse event that throws the inhumans, mutants, the fantastic four, and anyother characters owned by fox into earth 616. it doesnt make sense to have them all in their own universe, now that disney owns the rights to most of them now. it made sense back when they first started making marvel movies due to the characters having different owners but it doesnt make sense anymore. id be mad if they did another avengers movie without mutants, inhumans, and the fantastic four due to them being in a different universe

I was really looking forward to the Inhumans (I was a fan). I hated what they did with Medusa. Karnak and Gorgon were great. My favourite Blackbolt moment from the comic books is where Blackbolt fights and defeats the Hulk. The Hulk was on a rampage and Blackbolt fought him. The final drawing was Hulk lying face down on the ground. The ground showed stress fractures. How did Blackbolt win? He whispered in his ear.
