Good list. For my sorcerers I usually switch out Comet Azur for Meteorite of Astel - physical dmg is king in most instances and this sorcery melts large enemies or mobs.

Good list, but I'd switch Cannon of Halma for Ranni's Dark Moon, the latter does way more damage and also frostbite and a damage debuff and absolutely destroys most bosses.

I hope we get more gravity sorceries like ones that can lift enemies in the air like psychic abilities or create black holes that sucks in enemies (not just spells),and hopefully the dlc will introduce lightning sorceries I know there's already lightning incantations in the game but it would be cool if there was sorcery options as well.

been doing an int dex rn and i’ve been watching a bunch of videos on the sorceries. Killed thops without realizing it blocks you for getting the haima spells. this was a good list tho. didn’t realize stars of ruin, icerag, and comet azur were as good as they were. totally agree with rock sling, carian slicer, and carian piercer. rock sling and slicer are two of my most used spells. can’t wait to get the night comet.

Quick question, is Night comet going to be good with a darmoon greatsword mage build? I plan on running a BUNCH of damage boosting because my buddy (co op world) is running a tank shabriri build. So will me not having the 2nd staff still be okay?

Yeah, Night Comet still outputs insane damage with just the one staff of lost. You get the boost even if you offhand. Additionally what makes it so good is that the enemies AI does not dodge the spell.

Enjoyed the list! Carian slicer is definitely one of my favorites. I feel one sorcery that’s pretty underrated is zamor ice storm. It’s a good spell for crowd control when surrounded by a bunch of enemies and it staggers pretty well, but i can see it being a bit better for pvp. It procs frostbite pretty easily and can be charged. Didn’t realize how good it was until i did the Elon Musk build 😂

Man I love Glinstone Icecrag. The damage and frost buildup is awsome, but I agree that the range sucks. Its basiclly a all in spell because you are takeing a big risk to get chain attacked being that close to the enemy, especialy if you are fighting a dragon.

Awesome list of sorceries, I noticed that you have the jellyfish shield equipped quite often, does it make that much of a difference? Are you going to stay with Elden Ring until the DLC release? I’ve been sticking with Lords of the Fallen until it comes out 😊

Thanks man, Jelly shield gives 20% more damage so yeah its worth it :) Also I am sticking with Elden Ring for awhile. Seems to be doing well for the channel and Lords of the Fallen is still a glitchy mess.

I've been playing lotf to get the trophies, they have fixed most of the issues, and it seems to me that there are still some, like umbral ending sequence being buggy but at the end of the day, for a linear adventure it hit my Bloodborne itch, though I do think it would be served well with a resurgence, as multi-player scales to the host and you can stick with someone the whole way through. Umbral is pretty cool too. I am getting back into elden ring because I had gotten rid of my ps4 but now I am starting over, seems fun to mix all the sword spells with the night comet. I would be interested in getting a better idea of how to build it! Cheers this list is very nice and straight to the point

Nice list need to add Glintstone stars its the weaker version of stars of ruin it got buffed as stars got nerfed. 3 projectiles same tracking more damage per and only 12 FP.

Thank you, level 100 trying to switch to mage because I heard it can be a lot of fun and this video made that process a lot simpler. Comet azure tho. You said it’s situational but in those situations it feels like cheating 😂

I think that comet asur could share it's place with meteorite of astel. These spells have very similar purpose and depends on what enemy you face. And yeah...melee spells in this game are awesome. I'm running my magic build now with these spells in left hand and the guardian's swordspear with loretta's slash in my right. Always was saying that melee mages are the best game class in the world)

@@pastorgainzgames depends on the enemy. If boss can dodge range attacks, comet asur is pretty useless. And against large enemies I prefer meteorites. That's if I use these spells at all since I prefer fast-paced melee combat) Though I have a dream...to shoot Placidusax from the air with a moon, comet asur or something high-caliber)

I’m level 150 and have the death staff +25 int is at 38 which is one of my higher traits. Death spells don’t do any damage for me why??

I agree with the list. Maybe Comet Azur is a little too niche. I also feel like greatblade phalanx is really really good for breaking stances on hybrid builds. Rykards rancor is also an amazing spell making very dificult fights like malenia seem like a joke.

You were better with long hair 😢 I jest, I jest 😅, some other noteworthy sorceries would be Terra Magica (boost magic damage by 40%) and Ranni’s Dark moon, weakens an enemy resistances, does good damage and builds frost.

Hey no problem man, It is a NG + Build. If you want 2 before NG then you have to have a friend drop it for you. HIGHLY recommend 2 though, so much damage
