It isn't a religion, it is a cult. It has nothing to do with religion. L. Ron Hubbard was once asked by an interviewer how to make a lot of money and he replied, "start your own religion".

@iamnotjack.whydidichange10 жыл бұрын
eddiewinehosen stupid why? because you are closed minded? there is no proof that did happen, but also there isn't that did not happen. but one must apprecciate the work of whoever wrote or invented the bible, he managed to fool 2 thousand years of civilization and keeps on fooling many people. he elevated a slave religion to be the dominant one, and persuaded the roman empire, who didn't play around. i didn't have a real choice, one i was like 1, my parents made me catholic, i doubt many things, i don't believe in most of what the bible says, mainly because it was too much rewritten by the church and its stupid politics and interesses. but the truth is every legend has some truth in it

@joshbuckley590210 жыл бұрын
eddiewinehosen i do agree that those are weird stories but i think the way that Scientology practices is what is more off than other religions I mean you have to pay for one thing just to learn higher teachings and the rest of their methods just scream cult
@iamnotjack.whydidichange10 жыл бұрын
Sumpfjacke do what? it's not there are witches flying over in the bible. once, i saw a documentar explained that all the events on bible were actually possible, even when the sea divided in two, just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. and don't come with laws of physics on me, which is also something that you don't understand, if you did you wouldn't argue with that. the only thing that is not normal in the bible is when the first born children were killed in egypt and others miracles performed by jesus for exemple, that is when the divine comes around. i am not trying to do nothing here, i just hate when people talk without solid proof. and also, it's funny how people know that religion is used to war and still make stupid comments offending each other. before it was jews against heathen, jewsvs muslims vs christians, now is what religion vs atheism? if atheist are smart to know better than believing in someone, they should know that petty wars are stupid
@iamnotjack.whydidichange10 жыл бұрын
eddiewinehosen that's part of the divine, that's why it's called a god. and just because you can't and probably no one of nowadays can't, doesn't mean there never was. there is plenty of proof, of course you have to mantain an open mind. you know, before you there was the church who made fun of science, but science prooved them wrong, this is because there was open-minded people. i don't think there is such thing as science vs religion, since i believe in both. yes, poeple MUCH smarter than you say this. but i have to keep there is aspects which are wrong and others which are right, in BOTH.even science believes there may be something beyond us, since they also don't know how to explain everything. yes, poeple MUCH smarter than you say this. you cal me insane, but there is people in history who were called insane and then prooved right, i don't know if you know i am talking about since you obviously don't know nothing about history and its meaning

Theres a big difference, the Christian church wants some of your money, the church of scientology wants all of it.. even more than that.. they leave you in debt. Also some of the bible makes sense if you see it as fables on ethics and philosofy for simple minded people (like most of the people of that period where). All cults have a fairly unique set of shared beliefs, and are always a fairly small group of people. The definition of a religion is "a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons, as long as that group is more than one individual".
