Beautiful books. I’m sure I’m a little bit older but we are very similar. Sold most of my major keys in Heritage auctions From 2016 through 2017. Realized I wasn’t done with a hobby and used much of that money to pick up a lot of the keys you have displayed here, among others. So I am also glad I got back in a couple years ago. It is amazing, like you said, when I add up the current FMV of my top 20 graded books. Thanks for sharing!

The ASM 129 in F to VF was around $300 almost 3 decades ago. I regret it for not purchasing at the time and it still haunts me big time. I was deciding whether to pull the trigger at the time and what a mistake or how i miscalculated big time. For sure the price has been blowing up almost through the ceiling.

My girlfriend challenged me to sell one of my top books, as I hadn't sold any of them. I was hoarding/collecting. After I sold one of them, it was easier to sell a few others. I sold UF4 Djurvick for $10k+. With the market still booming for top keys, I think it's a good idea for everyone to sell off a few books to consolidate to bigger keys in higher grades, or just to take some cash off the table, and book some profits. Also make sure your insurance is up to date on each books new value. And keep them at the bank safety deposit box. Sweet books man!

Wow Lawrence you got a great deal on everything. Anyway this is Bob in Connecticut I purchased most of my good stuff over 10 years ago now it’s not affordable as you know and I am selling off because I’m not getting any younger. Well I mentioned before I got very lucky like you did. Amazing fantasy 15 6.0 cream to off-white I paid $4000 about 12 or 13 years ago in New York City yes we both know that’s over $100,000 right now. Amazing fantasy 15 8.0 restored pieces added no trimming which means a lot I only paid $450 from the comix buyers guide years ago as a RAW copy. Well people on KZbin contacted me they figured it’s worth $60,000 plus probably. My X-Men 1 7.0 I bought that many years ago in New York for only $300 and it was a RAW copy that is off-white yes that’s in the $50,000 plus range. I told you about my tales of suspense 39 8.5 I picked that up at the Jacob Javits Center $5300 about 12 years ago yes a copy just sold for $120,000 on comic link. Anyway Lawrence what would you do I was offered $25,000 for my journey into mystery 83 6.0 Cream to off-white or I can take $9000 and a .5 All-Star Comics eight the first appearance of Wonder Woman. I think I asked you before but I forgot half of the people told me to take the wonder woman and $9000 cash instead of $25,000 I am still pondering the situation. I also told you I have not worked in quite a few years because of comic books I was a bartender my last girlfriend passed away she made movies so I go to Yankee Stadium every year I have partial tickets .

Fantastic grails. I'm partial to the Hulk 1 as that's my favorite character and the best I have is a restored 5.5. Still happy with that but the hunt continues for a unrestored.

Nice books, but your valuations are way off! X1 is definitely not 9500 - 3.0 are closer to that. FF5 2.0 just sold for 6100 yesterday.

2012 is when I started accumulating 🔑 books never thought about selling them once. I just started picking them up for the love of it. Looking at the prices I guess I was fortunate too. If 2.5’s and 1.0’s go for that much how much do 5.0’s + go for? I see FF #1 was missing?! Do you not like that book as DD#1? Thanks for sharing off.

Congrats on your collection, really don't care of the grade of the books just owning these GEMS are priceless. I have ASM 129 raw it has a small bend in the upper right corner of the book. Thanks for sharing.

Great collection. Anyone would be proud to have those... I have a super high grade Marvel Family 1 first appearance of Black Adam... Ungraded 2 comic shop owners offer me $55k - $60k for them. I'll hold on to it and probably get it graded as another shop said its at least a 9.6 to 9.4 which is why those 2 other shops jumped at it... If it grades out a 9.4 or 9.6 it'll be worth 3x their offer...

Do you think the MCU OG characters are going to keep going up? Marvel books are crazy over priced because of the MCU. Big heroes are Batman, Superman, Spider-Man and X-Men. Think everyone else just boosted by movies. Like not sure Iron Man now that he is dead will continue to go up.

I think the blue chip keys will always go up in value. However the rate of which will slow down eventually.
