I purchased a Nasty Nick recently on EBay and paid just over $230 for it on an offer . Seller had accurately stated the card had staining on the front from the wax packaging. I received it, cleaned it up with close care and some silk cleaning, submitted to PSA and received a PSA8 grade (matte)! Very happy with my initial investment while knowing it was a risk. I am not flipping the card, and keeping in my PC for a long time.

Card grading is so much different than comics, one of the things that really hurts cards is the centering which counts towards the grade, unlike comics. With that said, pretty much all of the raw cards you showed had terrible centering and I don’t think they were at the grades of the graded PSA cards just looking at the centering.

@@tikertiker2 it’s funny bc recently I’ve been seeing cards labeled (OC) with higher grades. Off centered. Are they shifting to that now?
