@ometta7

@@richardtherichard26 It probably depends on the jurisdiction, but at least in some places one of the consequences of attempted suicide is being involuntarily committed to a mental health facility. In many cases the stay is indefinite and up to the discretion of the people who run that facility or the state. Technically it isn't meant to be a punishment, but it's still effectively incarceration. What's more, a lot of these facilities are just as dangerous as prisons if not more so since mental patients are less likely to be believed when trying to report abuse or misconduct. The mentally ill also tend to be far more passive and easy to abuse, a trait that is probably magnified when they're zombified on thorazine and lithium and not fully aware of their surroundings. Like most of the institutions and systems in this twisted nightmare of a society, the ones who are the most vulnerable are invariably the ones who suffer the most under these systems. Ain't that just peachy?

@@ConnorisseurYT True. The only rights you have inside are food, water, and air. Everything else is a luxury. The desperation many inmates face is what drives so many to suicide. But at least with the death sentence we know that upon the execution, the condemned won't be able to do it again. The only concern I have is executing an innocent person. I know that I couldn't make it a week in prison. I would be lucky to make it 3 days to be completely honest. I've done what I call "soft time", but I've never done hard time.

I have no sympathy for violent, predatory criminals. ZERO! And none for their relatives who make excuses for them. A good example is Seandell Jackson shown here! One of Jackson's relative screams, "I hate y'all! I hate you!" to the family of his victim, Nathan Potter.
