My parents were lame for my "sweet 16th party" just cake two friends and just my parents and sister which I had to share the cake with her. I never get recognition for my accomplishments I wasn't encouraged to go to my graduation nor prom they never went when I graduated college or even threw me a congratulations for even passing man I got cheated in life.

No this is not normal at all. Most families at least try to make you feel special on your birthday or graduation, from something as little as trick candles to a balloon that has your numbers on it. Your parents sound like they neglected your accomplishments or downplayed your milestones. You dont need to be rich to say "congratulations on graduating" to your child
