When you mentioned Jessie, I thought you meant how easily she can embarass herself with her childhood and break-up stories or how she can easily put herself in compromising situatiations. I mean... yeah, she started as having no experience in taking care of kids, but I do think she grew onto the job. And whenever she made a mistake, she would do her best to fix it. And let's not forget... the Ross kids didn't make it easy for her... I mean, the kids did scare away a lot of nannies before Jessie came around.

London wasn’t really cringey, she had bad moments of being selfish and epically naive about things, but that’s unavoidable to how she was spoiled rotten and basically being raised by a staff instead of parents. she was a lot of fun to watch but rewatching I just feel sad for her for not having a consistent family life (other than Mr. Moesby, he was her true father figure 😊)

The point of Lizzie Mcguire is supposed to be cringy. She stumbles, her parents make her wear an ugly unicorn sweater for her school picture, it turns out she's good at rhythmic gymnastics which is supposed to be embarrassing, her mom chaperones her school camping trip, she has do a project with her bully, she crushes on a brain dead moron because she thinks he's cute, even though she knows he's a brain dead moron. A lot of the stuff in the earlier seasons felt genuine and we all went through something like that. I'm not crazy on the later episodes because Lizzie stopped coming off as an awkward middle schooler, minus a few slips or trips here or there. Most of these other characters aren't but they unintentionally come off as cringy.

While I haven't watched the shows in years, I really don't remember that Cory Matthews or London Tipton or Lizzie McGuire was that bad. Cory and Lizzie were just typical teenagers going though typical teenage stuff, and London was given some moments to shine even if she often was spoiled and/or ditzy.

@@knightwolf9863Minutemen was one of my favorites (not to mention it was one of the very few DCOMs at the time aimed at boys). Virgil may have been embarrassed at the whole incident from his freshman year, but after realizing that Derek betrayed him to gain respect from the jocks and that Virgil would’ve ended up like Derek if he undid the events that made him one of the Minutemen, he decided to stay friends with Charlie and Zeke. If Virgil undid the incident, they wouldn’t have been the Minutemen. It’s safe to say that he learned his lesson in the end. Derek on the other hand, not so much.

I disagree with the whole list, Disney is geared towards kids and that is basically how kids act, just maybe these are a bit more on the dramatic side to make them comedic. These shows were made to appeal to kids not adults. Cory Matthews doesn’t hv a selfish behaviour & he’s not a cringe character. He is the kindest & sweetest person in the show. The characters all said it. The ones with selfish behaviours are probably Shawn Hunter or Eric Matthews. They are the ones that are mostly whiny or lazy or complains abt everything throughout the show. Cory tries to help people with their own problems & everyone says he’s a gentleman. He is also still learning on how to deal with his own life problems. You don’t really understand what Boy Meets World really is trying to show here. The show is trying to show kids at their age, how to manoeuvre through the same issues they have, with relationships, friendships, family, education.

Did people really not like Radio Rebel? I always thought that was one of Disney's better DCOMs. As for the list, most of these characters are more camp than cringy, like Troy Bolton or London Tipton. Brenda Song is like Disney royalty, and Disney Channel has never seen a peak as much as when High School Musical 2 made its premiere, because they've been trying to live up to that ever since.

I actually really liked (even LOVED) London Tipton from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "The Suite Life on Deck" (Even though I have yet to see "The Suite Life on Deck", but I am FULLY intending to see it soon). She is SO Funny. Ranging from her habit of saying "Yay me!" with her hand clapping while saying it, to her lack of social skills like not knowing what certain expressions mean along with her cluelessness and superficiality that often lead to funny situations, making her a comedic highlight who never ceased to be hilarious for me. But my favorite London Tipton episode (so far) was "Commercial Breaks". That episode made me laugh harder then any other episode of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" up to that point and since. Not to mention I loved her naivety in various episodes, and plus she had a lot of awesome outfits that really seemed true to her fashion sense. And her back and forth banter with characters like Ashley Tisdale's Character Maddie, Kim Rhode's Character Carry, and Phill Lewis' Character Moseby were always captivating for the reasons I already mentioned. Not to mention, her (occasional) willingness to help them due to her loyalty to them as she sees them as her close friends made her such an amazing character. And lets not forget that naivety became such an endearing quality to a whole lot of people. She became such an Iconic character because of Brenda Song's portrayal of London as a wealthy hotel heiress with a lavish lifestyle that has become very recognizable and considered one of the most memorable characters from the show. There is also the fact that London Tipton remains Brenda Song's most iconic role to date. And According to London Tipton's Wikipedia Page (In the section called, “Reception”): “The show's breakout character, London has garnered much media recognition, and Song's performance received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences. Song became a household name after The Suite Life of Zack & Cody debuted in 2005. In an April 2009 andPOP.com article, they stated that as London Tipton "Song is the One to Steal the Spotlight" on the Disney Channel. They said: "If you ever watched an episode of 'The Suite Life with Zack & Cody' you should realize that show is watchable because of one character: London Tipton. She walked away from Mitchie without a word at first after she told her that her dad owns a hardware store, sabotaged Caitlyn’s only solo performance at Pajama Jam, guilt-tripped Mitchie into admitting her mom’s profession when she found out, and tricked Brown into believing that Mitchie and Caitlyn stole her charm bracelet as revenge for humiliating them, and takes a fall during her performance at Final Jam. It’s no wonder Tess lost the competition, and that Shane Gray never interacted with her. After all, even a spoiled pop star like him has his limits.

A lot of what she is complaining about is the point of the respective story tho. (Not always-- some of the entries were justified. But still.) Troy turning into an opportunistic, suck-up dick is the moral dilemma in HSM2. Virgil turning into a dick when he’s finally popular is the same situation.
