Very informative video. I ski in Sjusjoen a lot and was not aware of some of the areas you mentioned. It would be great if you produced a similar video on Sweden or even Finland where I go frequently.

Just want to say, when skiing in Norway don't forget to also bring your classic skis. It was my experience that maybe 60-70% of the tracks were classic only. You are expected to figure it out based on the tack width (and the interactive grooming map). It's kind of tough to complete big loops on skate skis only. You end up doing a lot of out-and-backs.

Yeah, and he obviously hasn't been out toward Nordsetter and over to Pellastova if he thinks it's too flat!

Ok, I’ve been to most of the top 5. But to convince me to take a trip to Tromso you are going to have to make another video about it. I’d love to go, but really . . . . ??

Next about Finland please

You're talking more about training, not actually going out skiing - which is what many (most) Norwegians prefer. That means no prepared tracks although you may follow a marked trail - prepared courses are for after work, competition training or a Sunday stroll.

Comment: Well, the skiing seasons in Oslo have been very nice and very long the last years. Skiing well into May under perfect conditions. So even global warming is not yet taking away the fantastic and long season we have in Oslo

Can you skate ski on Nordmarka trails near Oslo? If I just want to skate around then which area would you recommend, i mean around Olso?
@xcskiing_universe11 ай бұрын
Yes, you can go skate everywhere around Oslo. From Tryvann near Holmenkollen, in the competition tracks in Holmenkollen for example, or at Linderudkollen, or Lillomarka Arena. You can skate everywhere

Sure Tromsø is nice but cant possibly be the best in Norway. The length of tracks on the island is limited and there arent much on the mainland and Kvaløya, and it is not only people walking in the tracks - lots of cyclists ride with no shame...

Why would you prepare 1000km of tracks for a small village????????????? Smart does not mean lazy.

Good and informative video, except for the "global warming" BS.

lmao where are you from? snowdays are in decline where i am from at least

There is a very obvious long-term world-wide trend of warmer winters and less snow. Try to ski in December anywhere below 4000 feet.

Another clown that thinks he knows more than the scientists that have studied this over the course of their lifetime. The debate has been over for some time. If nothing else its quite obvious that humans are destroying the planet in multiple ways. Educate yourself please.
