Top 10 DEATH BATTLE Ideas

DEATH BATTLE Season 9 is about to come to a close with Gogeta VS Vegito, and I figured there's no better time to start thinking ahead now that we know all of this year's fights. These are some of my ideas for episodes I'd like to see featured in Season 10, based on my personal preferences and some (hopefully) sound reasoning as well. These aren't necessarily predictions per se, but I'll still be stoked if any of them get made, next year or otherwise. 6:00 fun fact: Jesse McCree recently got his name changed to Cole Cassidy, because of some controversy about the original person he was named after, I don’t know the full details or context but think of it like the Balrog-Vega-M.Bison situation

Yes, it was the controversy that made developers change his name. But there was a logical solution in Overwatch lore to back up that name change; Jesse McCree was just a fake alias Cole used to hide who he truly is.

But considering the fight itself it'll be a real good battle between 2 of gaming's deadliest cowboy marksmen. Especially since they're around even in stats with Erron arguably being stronger if we take the whole scales to characters successfully preforming the Test your Might mini-game as a legit feat, is the better hand-2-hand fighter and is more experience since it is confirmed canon that he is 100+ years old basically during the heyday of the American West Erron was a outlaw who upon accepting and completing a job from Shang Tsung was granted by the sorcerer a extended lifespan including having his ability to age severally reduced, and with Cole he's arguably the faster one as it has been shown in the canonical comics that he can equal fellow Overwatch members Tracer, and Echo both of whom are known to be speed demons in terms of regular speed, and combat reactions, and Cole is also arguably the better marksman of the two with it being constantly shown in the canonical comics and the story cinematics that he surpasses the sharpshooting abilities of sharpshooter characters like Genji's anti-villain brother Hanzo, Talon Sniper Widowmaker, and fellow Overwatch member team sniper Ana and this is despite the fact he has no ocular implants/augmentations, that's right he's able to do sharpshooting feats that requires a sniper like Ana to have a ocular implant/augmentation put into her body to accomplish without the use of such body modifications, and according to the canonical comics fellow Overwatch member and team scientist Winston suspects the reason why Cole is able to perform these seemingly superhuman sharpshooting feats without the use of ocular implants/augmentations is because the former bandit turned Overwatch member's brain acts like a highly-advanced targeting computer that is constantly functioning at 100% capacity.

@@derrickhaggard definitely a fight that needs to happen, I’m already picturing how the fight could play out, starting with them in an old western village, doing the classic western movie style standoff, staring each other down, their hands twitching near their gun holsters, a tumble weed rolls on past, etc, then when the clock strikes 12 (it’s high noon), they draw and the fight begins, both countering each other’s shots like how Deadpool VS Deathstroke started, they fight in the village for a little bit, shooting each other with their six guns until they run out of ammo and have to reload (if they want to go the extra mile, they could add in the classing old west movie gunshot sound effects), Cole takes cover while Erron unloads his lever action rifle on Cole, Cole then throws a bunch of grenades over and shoots them all in mid air, setting them off so now Erron has to take cover, Cole closes in on Erron but then sees a coin get tossed straight up from behind Erron’s cover and it shines light in his eye right before Erron shoots the coin and it ricochets off of it towards Cole, who quickly blocks it with his bionic arm, Erron closes the distance between them and fights up close and hand to hand, until Cole throws a flash grenade and blinds Erron, then flees on his motorcycle so Erron chases on his outworld horse, they ride through the desert while shooting at each other, until the reach a steam train and both end up climbing aboard, and the rest of the fight is on the roof of the moving train Just picturing all those scenes makes me want this fight all the more desperately

@@majorfanboy2005 I can tell you haven’t been around here long. Vegito VS Gogeta has been one of the most popular requests literally since Season 1. I still remember it being requested every other comment on almost every Season 2 and 3 episode. I would not be surprised in the slightest if they revealed on the next Death Battle Cast that it was in the Top 1% most requested fights of all time. I always thought it was stupid, and I guess Death Battle did, too, since they waited so long to do it. But since they're stipulating that they're going to amalgamate all versions of the characters (including Heroes and GT) it'll at least be fun.

If I had to put some Death Battle ideas, I have a couple of interesting matchups and a half: - my idea for a battle is Usagi Tsukino vs. Bloom (Sailor Moon vs. Winx Club). The reasons behind this fight are that both contestants are lost princesses from kingdoms long gone (the Moon Kingdom and Planet Domino, respectively) that were both destroyed by the forces of darkness (the Chaos Force and the Three Ancient Witches, respectively), they created and are both leaders of their sentai groups (the Sailor Scouts and the Winx Club, respectively), possess a source of unimaginable power (the Legendary Silver Crystal and the Dragon Flame, respectively), have fallen in love with princes (Tuxedo Mask/Endymion and Sky, respectively), and when they need to transform we have long transformation sequences, not to mention they both have gained multiple forms throughout the series. They are so similar, so I'm kinda interested in seeing this fight. (PS: my sisters loved Winx Club when they were kids, and I grew up with Sailor Moon) - my second idea for a battle is Penny Polendina vs. Alisa Bosconovitch (RWBY vs. Tekken). This is a great fight between two androids, created by brilliant cientists (Pietro Polendina and Dr. Bosconovitch, respectively) in the image of their daughters, equipped with multiple weapons and combat data, they were used for different intentions (Penny was created to be a protector of mankind, while Alisa was created to protect Jin Kazama, before being rescued by Lars Alexandersson) but soon developed minds of their own (Penny received the powers of the Winter Maiden and then gained a human body, while Alisa was revived, suffered memory loss and gained a new directive of protecting Lars). Who is more combat ready? - I really want to see another tag battle in the future, and recently I watched a little anime called Futari wa Precure - think of it as a super sentai show, combined with magical girl anime and with some Dragon Ball Z fights. So for my wishlist, I want to see Cure Black and Cure White, the original legendary Precure warriors, take on another tag team. I've been watching some stuff about these two, and they are considered the most powerful warriors of the entire franchise, able to take down some enemies that multiple new Precure groups (composed of 4-6 warriors) are not able to defeat. My only problem is I can't think of a possible duo interesting enough to fight against them.

Nice list, Ii like the ideas of Bowser vs Eggman as a mid-season and/or season finale, Mysterio vs Scarecrow as a Halloween episode (perfection right there! 👌) and Homer vs Peter would be hilarious. Here are my top 5 most anticipated Death Battle match ups: 5. Aang vs Captain Planet (Nickelodeon vs DIC Entertainment) - I've been waiting for them to do this one for a long time. An all-out battle of the elements pitting an Avatar against an Earth spirit. Count me in and let our powers combine! 4. Zim vs Crypto (Nickelodeon vs THQ) - Which alien is the better invader? This could be a tricky one since there is only one Zim (thank God!) but there have been four Cryptos over the course of the Destroy All Humans! series, so some extra research might be required here. 3. Bill Cipher vs Discord (Gravity Falls vs My Little Pony) - * sigh * Yeah, Bill would probably lose but it would still be cool to see Gravity Falls get represented in Death Battle and besides, we can't deny that this fight would be freakin' insane! 2. Spawn vs Ghost Rider (Image vs Marvel) - The two greatest demonic warriors from Hell smashing skulls with each other? Yes please! This would be an ironic fight too because Seth McFarlane used to work at Marvel until he was kicked out which lead him to create Image Comics and Spawn, so if Spawn were to win this, and despite how much I like Ghost Rider, I would laugh my ass off at Marvel. It would also be another good concept for a Halloween episode. 1. Galactus vs Unicron (Marvel vs Transformers) - This would make an awesome season finale. DO IT ALREADY, DEATH BATTLE!!

Saruman vs Count Dooku, just think about how similar the characters are. Both used to be some of the most respected and greatest in there respective orders (Jedi and Istari) both were disillusioned of there factions, and then seduced by the ultimate evil in their worlds, before ultimately being killed as pawns after they served their purpose (I know it might be weird with them both played by Christopher Lee but he does a different enough proformance where you can tell the difference)

A lot of those fights could be really cool. I can easily picture them. Although I have to disagree on Ghost Rider vs Spawn. I wanted this battle so long, but since they Ghost Rider vs Lobo, it just went away. I've gotten into the Megaten franchise more recently, so Demi-Fiend vs Spawn is my wished battle for Spawn's returning, and since Demi-Fiend is in Shin Megami Tensei V, there's a new and HD model to put next Spawn's Mortal Kombat 11 model. Plus we *really need* another Megaten battle. It's been a while since Weiss vs Mitsuru. I'm gonna post my top 10 here :) 1. Supaidaman vs Adam West Batman- 60s Spider-Man might fit better against AW Batman, but I like the vibe of this one more. The crazy demonic Spider-Man clashing with the cartoony campy batman, I'd just love it. 2. Master Chief vs Commander Shepard- While more people want MC vs Doomslayer or Samus, I'd prefer Shepard. He's a little more debatable, I feel like he connects better, and I'd love for Mass Effect to appear on the show. Besides... 3. Doom Slayer vs Tadano Hitonari- SMT is gaining more popularity in the community and it just warms my heart. There are some other characters who can be the first SMT character (Demi-Fiend and Raidou really come to mind), but Strange Journey is just so cool and having this force of nature in the Slayer fighting this more tactical soldier would be a cool dynamic. 4. Stickmen Battle Royale- This is mostly here for my friend but it'd honestly be cool. It would have a funnier vibe and bring in more online characters. 5. Sailor Moon vs Pegasus Seiya- Sailor Moon and Saint Seiya appearing on the show would be cool :). Is it a stomp? Yeah definitely. Is the animation potential low? Idk. Would it still bad fucking cool? YEAH!!! 6. Ike vs Anyone- Ike from Fire Emblem is easily one of my favorite characters ever, so having him appear, win or lose, would be amazing to me. Guts from Berserk, Olberic from Octopath, Yuri Lowell, they would all be great for me no matter what! 7. Ash Williams vs Frank West- Ash Williams is another one of my favorites, and having him in death battle is another dream for me. I don't really care who he fights tbh, Ellen Ripley is another option I'd like, but as long as he shows up I'll be happy. 8. Solidus Snake vs King Bradley- What else can be said. More Metal Gear and FMA on death battle would be cool, they're thematic and have connections, and while I've seen more people vouch for Solidus winning, it wouldn't be stompy to a casual viewer who enjoys these series. 9. Cell vs Sephiroth- While Cell has other matchups that people like more, this is 100% my favorite. Cell, this cocky loudmouth bastard who would just try showing off to Sephiroth, while Sephiroth acts above him (he is). It's a stomp, even without universal scaling for Sephiroth, but it'd be a fun match for me. 10. Dragonborn vs Chosen Undead- Thematic, great potential animationwise, and a rivalry/ legacy match. I imagine it'd be protrayed the same way I described Doom Slayer vs Tadano, Chosen Undead being strategic and skilled, but slow and clunky. While Dragonborn is a force of nature who powers through the Chosen's magic and strikes. It HAS to happen for the track alone.

Sasha Waybright vs Catra (both are bad girls turned good and they both have experience fighting with blades and are stronger and faster than a normal person) 7. Spider-Man battle royale (just sounds fun) 8. Wednesday Addams vs Alex Chen (both have psychic powers and try to solve murder mysteries. Also it would be a good way to introduce both Addams family characters and life is strange characters into death battle) 9. Vi vs Yang (both prefer to fight using mechanical gauntlets and are much stronger than a normal person) 10. Anne vs Luz (I just really want to see this one)

A Marvel fight I'd like to see next year is Loki Vs Kefka, it'll be fun to delve into other Asgardian characters and given the amount of nonsense these two have to throw at each other it'll be a great fight. Also Loki is just so insanely broken it'd be hilarious to see Death Battle explaining everything he can do. No seriously he's one of those Marvel character where it's all "Ok at what point do you not just give up and say they have every power?"
