I'm Albanian born in America. My parents grew up under the Enver Hoxha regime. Hoxha was an insane bunker maniac. He admired Josef Stalin and the ways he governed. HOXHA made Albania the North Korea of Europe. We were isolated after we broke ties with China in 1978. Enver Hoxha often purged his leadership and accused anyone as a Yugoslav, Russian, or Chinese spy. This is true to his best friend and Comrade-in-Arms Mehmet Shehu, who was murdered under mysterious circumstances in 1981. Most believe Hoxha killed Mehmet himself, while others believe Hoxha ordered it. Hoxha was just like Kim - he made a state cult of himself. He banned ALL RELIGION in 1967. Albania became the first ATHEIST STATE IN HISTORY. Hoxha was truly a maniac during the 40 years of his reign.

Lukashenko is bad but hardly deserves #1 IMO, Nguema, Seko or Mobassa would have been better. A few possible entries come to mind as well - Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi (esp. in his later years), Omar al-Bashir, Augusto Pinochet, Ferdinand Marcos, and perhaps the biggest omission I saw - Pol Pot, who can easily be #1 on the list considering the scale of what his regime did.

Somewhere in West Philadelphia, you will find an old basketball court with a single ball lying in the middle. Pick it up, and start shooting hoops. After a while, a small group of hooligans will approach you and challenge you to a fight, which you must accept. After the fight, you must go home and relay the events to your mother. She will then inform you that you have an aunt and uncle living in one of the districts of Los Angeles, and out of fear, she will send you to live there for an indefinite period of time. With your bags packed, go to the street corner, and whistle for a cab. The cab that will pull up will bear the word “FRESH” on the license plate, and upon closer inspection, novelty fuzzy dice will hang in the mirror. Although you will suddenly realize that cabs like these are extremely hard to find, do not bear any thought to it. At this point you must point out in front of the car and say “Yo, homes, to Bel Air.” You will stop in front of a mansion, and it will be sometime between 7 and 8 o’clock, even though it will feel like you have been travelling for mere seconds. Get your luggage out and say “Yo, homes, smell ya later!” but do not turn back to face the cabby. Walk up to the door, look over your shoulder once, and then knock on the door three times. If you follow these instructions, your life will get flip-turned upside-down.

Lol I'm surprised Turkmenistan didn't make this list. The ways they were forced to worship their leader rivaled North Korea back in the day. Kind of disagree with the Belarus assessment though. He's an autocrat but it is a relatively soft dictaorship. I have met Plenty of Belarusian youtubers who are able to say "Alexander Grigoryevich? Oh yeah, he has his moments." Plus the "local language," assuming you are referring to Belarusian, is used by less than 10% of the people on a daily basis and has been that way for decades. Now I'm all in favor of reviving the language but I wrote a whole 8-page paper for class, part of which was for debunking the myth that Lukashenko killed it.

Tempest its propaganda of United state and the imperialism, but he doesnt talk about his country that invade another countrys, Barack Hussein Obama Bim Ladem kills a lot of kids in the east every day but nobody say nothing, George Bush hitler did the same, and dont forget about Israel and Britain, the alliance that is the real axis of evil.. ps: Kim jong un is not a dictator. dictator: a person who control all the country by its own, the people dont have access to anything socialism: control of all the country by the people and POLITICALLY is control by a party, in the case of N.K is the Work party

Officially, yes, they are more socialist. Unofficially, Kim Jong Un does everything in his power to be the ONLY power, making it a true dictatorship.

Trollololol yeah i know he is brittish, and i mentioned it, the alliance between the 3 countries, and i forgot to talk about the English Monarchy, its like a dictatorship, talking bout democracy but tell me when Queen Elizabeth was elected by the population? He is talking about North Korea but Britain have a queen that control all the country and not only the Britain island no.. they control a lot of countries that they call "colonies" wow Britain is not a dictatorship..

Trollololol and if we talk about N.K they are more democratic, the population controls all the productions, the legislation etc.. Kim Jong Un is only the Leader of the party but the legislator camera is control by another power and its elected by the population, Kim Jong Un doesnt control that, and its stupid to think that, How Kim Jong Un can control all if N.k has legislators, a lot of legislators and he cannot decide by his own.

Ricardo Herrera Whilst Queen Elizabeth does have political power, she does not make the decisions over the laws of the United Kingdom, nor would any British monarch. Parliament, the elected and more powerful portion of the government in the UK, is in control of that, and has been for a long time. But hey, that's my point of view.
