Mufasa should definitely be higher. He not only taught us about the circle of life and remembering who we are. But he also teaches us that you don't have to be brave and manly all the time, only when you have to be. And that it's okay to be scared sometimes. I feel like these are important messages for men in today's world as society believes men should always be tough and never be scared or vulnerable.

@@LarryDevaun Aladdin is not a total liar. But a liar tho. He wanted to tell everything to Jasmine at the point where everything was becoming serious. Plus he rather crave himself than let orphan kids craving. He also saved them from the other guy who was about to hit them. He's a role model, a liar, but a role model. Pinocchio is a total liar.

Mufasa should've been higher. He jumped into a stampede of wildebeest just to save his son, plus he was a proud lion who wasn't afraid to show humility (he pleaded to Scar for help before he realized Scar planned the whole stampede). And to top that off, he was a stern, yet loving, father to Simba, who adored him. And despite Scar's obvious devious nature and resentment towards his brother, Mufasa still wanted him to be a part of Simba's life otherwise he could've just as easily banished him.

Tarzan is an especially genius masculine role model in his foil of Clayton. Tarzan = positive masculinity: strong, inquisitive, understanding, protective, and loyal. Clayton = toxis masculinity: aggressive, angry, violent, controlling, selfish, inconsiderate. That is just one of many reasons I think the movie is more brilliant than we all realized as kids. Interestingly enough, George of the Jungle does the same thing.

I know it sounds crazy, but, I greatly admire Hector and Imelda (yes, her too) from Coco, they made mistakes, but, they still feel very human. Imelda deserves some credit, she started her own business (at a time where it could not have been easy to do so) and kept it running until she died and it's still running long after her death, all the while she raised her daughter on her own (I'm sure her family helped, but, she remained a single mother). They both might've made bad choices, but, the way I see it, their hearts have always been in the right place.

Sure, he's a pirate, probably killed a guy, and in the sequel he was going to try selling a nuclear warhead, but he taught Jim to follow his heart, and was the role model he never had in life. And he was so proud of him charting his own course, and even appeared in the clouds at the end.

His intentions were honestly never very clear and yes, he is not perfect and that is okay. Can we replace him with Tadashi or someone else? Aladdin so high, why. He deceived Jasmine. Why is he so high on here? Even James Hawkins would be a good option (the guy from Treasure Planet)
