Cybermen have a scare factor similar to zombies in the sense it's not that they are lifeless and can kill, it's that you too will become lifeless and kill others and no matter how fast you run you cannot prevent your own murder and future murders. whereas daleks are just powerful and don't care about you and don't need you for anything which can be better if you think about it but infinitely more terrifyingly powerful, power or fear is the difference between daleks and cybermen.

Breaking the Wall? (Heaven Sent) The Anti-War Speech? (The Zygon Inversion) Missy's Execution? (Extremis) Missy's death. _She truly died without hope, without witness and without reward._ (The Doctor Falls) When River discovers the surgeon is the Doctor? (Husbands of River Song) When Missy is revealed as the Master? (Dark Water) Clara's death? _Though ruined in Hell Bent, it was a pretty damn good death scene._ (Face the Raven) The Doctor and Davros? (The Witch's Familiar) Bill finding out she is a Cyberman? (The Doctor Falls) The Twelfth Doctor's death when fighting the Cybermen. (The Doctor Falls) Razor's reveal? (World Enough and Time) *The Twelfth Doctor deserved to be on this list for delivering some of the most memorable scenes in all of Doctor Who.*

I agree. I loved Heaven Sent. Also the way the doctor gets surprised about how big the tardis is on the inside in "Husbands of River Song" "Hello Sweetie"...so many of Capaldi's lines would be top of the list for me...The times in Deep Breath and The Girl who Died when he talked about why he was "frowned this face"...relating back to saving the roman in fires of Pompeii which he played previously...or when Clara threw away all the tardis keys but he said he's still help her "do you think I care so little that betrayal would matter." The spoon duel with Robin Hood, the guitar playing on a tank....speech to racist "lord" in Thin Ice about how the judge of a society is how much we protect the weakest... I think Capaldi's performance showed so well how 12 cared more and loved deeper than any other doctor (at least in recent times)...

Quite a bit of historical accuracy in that episode. I'd say the pairing with "The Empty Child" is my favorite story arc from New Who, as well as why Nine is my favorite Doctor. (The introduction of Jack Harkness in that episode didn't hurt either.) So many great lines from those two episodes.

@kopitarrules7 жыл бұрын
+Usagi1992 Probably because he's an easy target. It's happened with several show runners before. It's just now with the internet it's a LOT easier to spread the hate. Famously John Nathan Turner suffered a TON of fan hate back in the 80s even though his drive was about all that kept the show going through multiple writers strikes.
@ItsCamille7357 жыл бұрын
Usagi1992 He's a good writer but a terrible show runner. Since his run started it feels like we've never had loose ends tied up. Why are cracks appearing in the skin of the universe? Because the tardis explode? Because of the silence. How'd they do that? He dances around concrete answers and not in a good way.
@ladycplum7 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY. Great when he's writing his one or two eps per season under RTD, but really out of his league as the Executive Producer. Which makes me wonder about Chris Chibnall, because I've found his stories for Who being either bland or unwatchable. Maybe he'll turn out to be a fantastic showrunner.

We definitely missed McCoy's confrontation with the guards in The Happiness Patrol, or perhaps his burnt toast speech in Ghost Light. Both of them blow that "Daisiest daisy" bit out of the water. Capaldi deserved a proper spot too. And although it's probably not better than "Have I that right?", Tom Baker's first meeting with Scarlioni in City of Death is hands down the funniest scene the show has or will ever see.

Here are a few that I think should have been on here. -Rose looks into the tardis -Rose falls into the parallel world -Matt Smith’s I AN TALKING -David Tennant’s regeneration (should have been number 1) -David Tennant saves the Earth from Davros with all of his companions. Those are just a few
@LibertyBridgeProductions2 жыл бұрын
I think the war speech and Journeys end flying the Tardis should be on here. MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE HOWEVER IS >> The scene where 11 calls Clara as 12 watches I think might be one of my smaller favourites however as it demonstrates so well how each doctor is the same and how his face is only a reflection of the trust between them. Also highlights the different connection both doctors have with there companions and encapsulates the bond the show id built on through this. The companion is more than a friend, more than a lover but someone is the one person the doctor decides to do exist with. Losing that is losing such a big part of himself each time.

Hmm, I don't think a lot of Whovians would agree about Rose's goodbye in "Doomsday" being among the honourable mentions. I think they actually would have expected that to be nearer the top of the list. Also, why couldn't the Doctor's farewell speech to Susan in "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" have at least been among the honourable mentions too? Anyway apart from that, great list, especially the Doctor comforting Victoria in "The Tomb of the Cybermen", the "Daisy-est Daisy" story in "The Time Monsters", "Have I that right?" in "Genesis of the Daleks" and of course the Doctors save Gallifrey in "The Day of the Doctor".

I'm hoping it will be good, but I find it strange that the cannon now is that the Time Lords do not have a fixed gender. Once the Master became Missy the door was open for gender swapping, but part of me feels like they should stay the gender they were born. For that matter, how does that affect gender at birth? This change brings up a lot of questions about Time Lord anatomy and culture.

Where was the survival moment when the 7th doctor says if we fight like animals, we die like animals.

These should be on here: The First Doctor says goodbye to Susan with his famous speech "One day I shall come back..."; The Seventh Doctor's "We fight like animals, we die like animals" speech; The Sixth Doctor's post regeneration; The Twelfth Doctor's tank entrance; The Fifth Doctor reacts to the death of the Silurians and Sea Devils; Jo's goodbye to the Third Doctor; The Valeyard revealed as the final incarnation of the Doctor; Amy's goodbye to the Eleventh Doctor; The Eleventh Doctor confronts the Atraxi; The Ninth Doctor can't kill the entire fleet of Daleks; The Eighth Doctor remembers himself (minus the infamous kiss); The Second Doctor meets Salamander inside the TARDIS; The Fourth Doctor's first appearance; The Eleventh Doctor meets the Curator (AKA Tom Baker); The First Doctor stands in front of one of WOTAN's war machines; The Sixth Doctor and Peri in an illusion room; Jamie & Zoe's goodbye to the Second Doctor; Missy reveals to be the Master.

The Vincent Van Gogh scene is actually my favorite so I'm glad it made the list. I feel it's because there are few people in history you'd like to give that moment to and he was one of them, so this show did that for us, for a moment, we could pretend we did.

There are numerous moments in the series that can never be forgotten, but my favorite is the "Listen" speech. "Listen! Question: Why do we talk out loud when we know we're alone? Conjecture: because we know we are not. Evolution perfects survival skills. There are perfect hunters. There is perfect defense. Question: Why is there no such thing as perfect hiding? Answer: How would you know? Logically, if evolution were to perfect a creature whose primary skill were to hide from view, how could you know it existed? It could be with us every second and we would never know. How would you detect it? Even sense it? Except in those moments when, for no clear reason, you choose to speak aloud. What would such a creature want? What would it do?"

Vincent and the doctor is simply amazing. If you don't cry you are not human

What made the scene which The 11th Doctor and Amy bring Vincent Van Gough to a museum in Present Day London so moving and touching was the music track used in the scene - "Chances" by Athlete.

I agree with this completely! It's got to be so hard to put episode on the list and be able to order them... in any case, I love see all the Classic Who and not just the new stuff!

I give it to the War speech over the Doctor saves Galifrey. Surprised we didn't have "Good men don't need rules. Today is not the day to find out why I have so many."

A very underrated moment comes from McCoy’s “Remembrance of the Daleks” where the Doctor discusses ripples in tea, like a huge boulder dropped into a lake.

When you put the clip where rose says goodbye to the doctor i started crying. I thought to myself: dammit still gets me! Even when it's only played for ten secondes
