Hey guys. Today I am going to be going over 10 early game goals for brand new members accounts. These are all going to be things you should work towards when you have a brand new members account.
These goals will be a combination of quests, items and diarys. The requirements on most of these are very low, or easy to obtain early game. Some examples are the ardougne cloak 1, fariy tales part 1 and 43 prayer. Some of these requirements can be done in f2p, but are way quicker to do with membership

Man I would put ardy cape at #1 as it is basically a teleport to: Ardougne (before having the magic level), grand tree (northwest), fairy ring, khazard, mining iron, and is basically a centrally located teleport. It's a quick way to the boat to brimhaven (fruit tree, many quests, shilo village, etc).

Honestly im lvl 75 magic and i still find myself using the cape as a main cape, the stab bonus is good with the wep im using and the tp is an easy bank then use the fairy ring to get back to w/e you were

Higher level agility does NOT reduce the consumption of run energy. That is solely determined by your weight and stamina potions. Run regen is determined by your agility level and graceful bonus though.

The best part of the varrock diaries is the ability to teleport to the grand exchange rather than varrock sq, hands down... The battlestaffs are fine, but ultimately hardly worth the time

Agility doesnt actually make your run deplete slower, but it lets it recharge faster. The only thing that affects how fast it depletes is your weight

Many of the things you said could be misleading to a new player due to your wording. Ex: “burry bones in another player’s POH.” Not trying to be critical, I’m just concerned for the new players who may take all of your statements literal. Nice vid otherwise, love that you help out the new players.

On the note of prayer training, d bones can be quite expensive, so I actually got up to 43 pretty easily by mooching big bones from people cannoning things like ogres and giants. Bank 'em, bring to someone else's gilded altar, _amazing free prayer xp._ I hadn't known about the battlestaves being decent profit, I'll start exploiting that immediately! Hell, I'm in Varrock now and haven't been using it! I'll do it now! My no-effort noob money has been almost exclusively ard cloak 1 enhanced cats. (49k per 3 hours of cat being out)

Many things in this video needed to be worded differently and more detail to useful items to acquire should have been added in. Telling players outright to farm ranarr is a terrible idea. You lose out on so much profit if they die, you need to pick larger amounts of them per patch to make a worthwhile profit as well. You don’t even mention the magic secateurs. Getting the magic secateurs and trollheim patch early on is very useful. Plant ranarr in trollheim patch since it is disease free and toadflax in the other patches. Using ultra compost is worth is as well since it increase base and maximum yield of plant when used. Magic secateurs also increase herb yield from farming. Side note: there is literally a NMZ (nightmare zone) teleport option if you go into you mini games list in your quest tab. You don’t need to use ardy cloak to go to the monastery to get to yanille. You can also just house teleport and use yanille portal in someone’s house in the house party world.

FlippingOldschool adding in ways to make sure you get the best chance possible for ranarr seeds to live and give more crops would have been great things to add. Such as super or even ultra compost. They make crops less likely to die and give more crops when harvested as well. Those are available to level 3 as long as they aren’t an iron man haha

You can't use the portal to Yanille unless you've completed the hard achievement diary for the area. You also need to complete the Watchtower quest to even use the portal at all. But you made some other great points that I agree with.

You need to consider the fact that most players who are watching this video have no clue about members content. So when you say stuff about diary and POH, and herb runs I didn't understand a single thing you said...Like you'd expect a f2p to join members for the first time and be like OH I definitely know what herb runs are, Ik what a POH is, Ik how to do diary missions... like no

Very true. I'm not much of a veteran myself so hopefully someone will come along who can clarify more, but POH means player owned house. Certain servers (can likely be google searched) have people who host their houses near Rimmington I believe. U can go to their house and use their altars to boost ur prayer exp per bone used on it. As for herb runs, there are certain farming plots throughout the game that allow u to plant herbs. By using teleports near these plots u can do collect these herbs after they've grown a few times a day and they are quite valuable

if u look closely theres a small gap out of white wolf mountain leading to the west. Its at the south west of the mountain, and comes out onto the small fishing area. You have to get onto the mountain and go around slightly to get to the other side. I had trouble with this too. Now I just teleport to Camelot and run like 10 seconds to Catherby. Much faster. Gl.

You can get to white wolf mountain by gnome gliders. One gnome glider is in desert, one near digsite, one in gnome stronghold. Few in other locations too.

You complete the Medium Varrock diary and that lets you toggle between Varrock or GE for Varrock teleport. I figured I'd answer on the off chance you don't have your answer yet even though this was said a month ago. At the very least, other people scrolling through might get their answer from it.

hi quick correction: at 2:48 you say having a higher agility level makes your run energy deplete at a lower rate. This is false. The only thing that affects run energy depletion is how much weight you are carrying. Agility level impacts the rate at which run energy restores. You were correct in saying that the graceful set bonus regenerates your run energy 30% quicker, but didn't mention that that effect only happens if you are walking or standing still, not running.

tramiquius johnson I do ranarr at troll patch because it can’t die and has the potential to make more profit than 1 toadflax would in that spot since the ranarr cannot die. Also, spend the extra little bit on ultra compost. It is very worth it. Toadflax can still make just as much per plant as ranarr. But ranarr makes a lot more if you get a lot more herbs from that patch. If I pick 15 herbs from a single plant which I’be had happen a decent few times, I make 80k if it were a ranarr and only 40k if it were a toadflax. After seed cost of course.

Unlocking teleport spells isn't too big of a deal considering you can buy tabs for a modest additional cost. Ardougne in particular was my least significant one because I already had an ard cloak 1 by that point for infinite teles (it being near an altar, a fairy ring AND spirit tree to the northeast and northwest respectively was just wonderful. Still my most valued item.)

Ranarrs are trash, even with ultracompost I make no money at all per farm run due to the high seed cost. Going to try something else. I will second the usefulness of full graceful. That and spirit trees/gliders/fairy rings/teleport jewelry early was the best decision I could have made.

@@ah7027 Maybe you need glasses yourself. At the time of my comment RuneLite was in fact not legal. Let me explain for your pea-sized brain. RuneLite had features Jagex did not accept as a ToS addon. RuneLite complied eventually (around nine months ago) and deleted various scripts and plug ins to become a ToS complient addon. I'm sure you will read two words of this or not do your homework and still argue, but whatever.
