My wife inherited her dad's coin collection last year. It's a nice addition to what I already have. :) I remembered he had an uncirculated roll of Ikes so I just dug them out. Sure enough they are 1976-D type 1. So, even though I'm not an expert, I've been collecting for 20 years myself, so I took a look at them with my loop. Gotta say, I'm sending 4 of them in. The rest are MS 65 or 64, but these four, well, they are quite outstanding. Time to go through the other five rolls, but they aren't marked unc. Thanks very much for this interesting video!!

I just came back to this video again, I have access to some Ike dollars that were given to me by grandparents when I was really young. My mom has an old canvas bank bag filled with different coins. One thing I am mainly looking for is to see if there's a high grade 1921-S Morgan that I could send off to get graded to be part of my collection, I did find an 1971-D Ike that would most likely grade 65 or higher. @@CoinHELPu Hi can you please help me I have a 1971 Eisenhower dollar made a silver with No Mint mark It does not show the Brown copper on their side of the coin It weighs more than a regular copper Eisenhower It makes a different sound than a regular Eisenhower In the finish on it is different than a regular Eisenhower It is a bit tarnished And I'm wondering if it may be a proof with no mint mark or a standard Eisenhower minted on the wrong metal Please help me find out what I have thank you

Oh man! I'm so happy you did this video! I am working on an Ike dollar collection. I have 12 of them graded ms65 or better, all in NGC holders. My "best" one may be a 1973 S silver graded MS67. What do you suppose it's worth? I intend to collect every Ike dollar listed in the blue book in an NGC holder in a grade of 65 or better. I collect all different coins, but this set is going to be "my baby" Thank you very much and keep these great videos coming!

Unless they're graded and attributed by PCGS or NGC then they will not be worth the same or much more than face. The coins showed are graded and labeled by PCGS.

My Mom gave me some Ike dollars, that are really nice and don't appear to have any issues, that are in GSA type holders. I already spoke to NGC, I can send them off and get them graded like you would GSA morgans. I am going to send them off then I can post the results when I get them back. Both of my parent's support me when it comes to collecting coins.

I notice all the type 2 coins don't have it. And the type 1s DO...But my coin has not been found on any channels or websites I went to. I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer. '73 and '74 brown box Ike's arrived today. No tics or damage of any kind and both will bring a 67 DCAM I believe. Fields almost black they are so deep and the even deep frost is ridiculous. Both clearly very very early strikes on their particular die. Simply flawless coins.

Finally went through all my Eisenhower coins..have one 1972 D with a "silver" band twice as think/wide as the copper band..weighs in at 24.7 g....same as most "ike" dollar coins,but that band width makes it look weird!!

The #1 bicentennial proof no mintmark was actually a pattern or specimen coin struck by the mint. It was given to a Senator, who spent it at a department store. The clerk wisely kept it, and as far as I know the family still owns it.

I have a 72 no mint mark on a 90% silver planchet and when they made it in a deep cameo they forgot to polish fields so the whole obverse has a fine cameo texture to it. Or.. it is just pmd, but it is very curious and very intentional looking. Thanks again for the videos Daniel 👍

Sorry you don't. Where would the planchet have come from? They hadn't made 90% silver dollar size planchets at the Philadelphia mint since 1935, and that was in a completely different building. They didn't even have 40% silver planchets in Philadelphia.

I found a 1776-1976 dollar that my dad had. It's in like a candy wrapper that's never been opened. No mint mark. Package says Tupe II UNC. Eisenhower dollar BD Littleton Coin Company Littleton, NH May have to get this thing checked!
