Ecstasy of Gold is my favourite piece of music of all time, the fusion of the track with Tuco running through Sad Hill Cemetery is the greatest fusion of sound and motion ever achieved... My favourite complete Morricone score is for Giu La Testa /Fistful of Dynamite.... But Morricone's first spaghetti soundtrack wasn't Fistful of Dollars, that would be Gunfight at Red Sands under the pseudonym Dan Savio (replete with terrible theme tune A Gringo Like Me)

Great video! Great list!! Great composer!!! Morricone is my absolute favorite composer also!!! That being said, my favorite composition from the late great has to be "Jills America!" Or Jills Theme from also my #1 film of all time!: Once Upon a Time in the West. Perfection!

Ennio Morricone was the G.O.A.T. All the other great and my favourite music Composers like John William, Alan Silvestri, Bill Conti, Hans Zimmer, John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith , Guido And Maurizio De Angelis, Franco Micalizzi, Fabio Frizzi, John Carpenter etc are still behind him .

Make a part 2 of this video and include soundtracks from The Big Gundown (1966), Companeros (1970) , Sartana series, Sonny And Jed (1972), My Name Is Nobody (1973), A Sky Full Of Stars For A Roof (1968) . Also a Non Western movie Almost Human (1974) which is a Eurocrime movie.

I've been watching and listening to spaghetti Westerns a long time. I'm sorry to say it's been about 60 years what is spaghetti western is it takes you into a different feeling the music the Moe the scenery all makes it what it is I agree with your list except you're missing a few other ones on there cuz you have to have a top 20 then. But guns for San Sebastian I think has one of the best ballots on there, the big gun down, lol close all his music is great but he did do a soundtrack for a Marlon Brando movie called burn there's a song on there that uses an electric keyboard and it's haunting in itself. And by far the best song has to be that could . And by far his best song has to be Ecstasy of Gold it's been used on beer commercials NFL and many more it's haunting and very memorable. And by far the best scene is when to call is running through the same table with the music in the background put everybody has their own opinion

I think he worked very closely with Sergio Leone. There's a story that say that Clint is not remember music being played in the background of when two cars running through the cemetery I do believe sometimes music was written before the movie
