Yes such a good one. I always make sure to check in with the couple on arriving before I record anything or bring in any gear. Helps ease the anxiety about being on camera all day.

Man the movement advice was solid! I actually became aware of that not too long ago. Wedding films from great gimbal operators really skewed my perspective on how I should be filming. Once I eliminated movement, and did static shots concentrating on framing/composition, my films became better.

How do you mic the bride with the DJI Mic? Is it not too bulky to place in the dress? I’ve just ordered the Tascam DR-10L in white for the bride, but it can be complicated to place it in the dress, especially depending on the dress design, the leg strap, or the heat of the day. I’m wondering if I should have gone with the Instamic or DJI Mic instead.

Right now im just using it for one off moments. Letters, First touch, Still looking through some ways to incorporate it for the ceremony that is concealable but quality.
