It’s crazy how everything back then was just gigantic versions of things we have now. Also fun fact, with the earth getting hotter, there’s a lot of potential for some creatures (like titanoboa) to come back from extinction.

If they could they would but they can't. The biggest different is atmospheric differences. The size of these animals was because of the lower levels of oxygen. The earth was also wetter as much more land was under water.

Titanoboa may actually still be around. I came across a story about a British Surveyor Percy Fawcett who mapped Brazil and The Amazon River he was respected for his in depth notes on his Surveying jobs. He reported seeing a 60 foot long snake thought to be a Anaconda. There are places in Brazil & Peru in upper most regions where one's Ears would pop routinely because of the pressure Anacondas measuring over 100 feet in length. I'm left wondering if a few could be Titanoboas.

Bear in mind (pun intended) that humans encountered the short faced bear frequently, and often hunted it with spears and atlatls. I don't think modern humans would have much trouble with it if it was brought back. And we possibly encountered gigantopithicus also, and some believe that modern bigfoot sightings are surviving members of the species.
@hackman669

Good point, though modern big foot sightings are most likely amateurs wanting to make a name for themselves. Also primates, especially over sized orangutans, did not evolve in North America.

Evolution does not work that way. Think of the food chain. There could only be so many predators at one time. Also keep in mind sentient animals are a rarity. For example at one time, during the late Stone Age, scientists believe there may have been up to three human species living at the same time.

16:40 this is incorrect! Liopleurodon died out at the end of the Jurassic Period, not the Cretaceous (Or even beyond)! Also when the extinction happened, animals over 10kg were wiped out so even if Liopleurodon survived until the extinction event, then they would've died along with the dinosaurs!

If we had to bring back a Sabertooth Tiger, I would put genetics of house pets (like a cat and/or puppy) to create the Sabertooth Tiger so that it can be more of a benefit for humans.. and It would just be cool to have a lovable Sabertooth as a pet Also, when I saw the Epicyon, I was like: GIANT PUPPY!!😍😍.
