So glad to have found your channnel! This is exactly the type of book-related content I'm always searching for. I was only 7 years old back in '99 -- not quite old enough for some of these classics -- but I'm a very nostalgic person, and I love to imagine what it would've been like to be a serious reader of fantasy back in the day. Other than LotR, Princess Bride, and some Discworld, I haven't read most of the titles on this list. Will have to add them to my TBR! Thank you!

Welcome aboard! So much of booktube focuses on recent stuff, so hopefully I can balance that out a bit. Enjoy your new discoveries and hope you enjoy the videos!

Glen Cook seems to be back in people's TBR lists again. I might get around to some of these some day. Never heard of that #1 book before;-)

The Black Company books are quite good. They inspired much of the grimdark we see today

I've actually picked up a couple Black Company books but never got around to reading them yet. I also heard great things about Terry Goodkind, or at least, his earlier works. I've heard that the later works kind of started to go off the deep ends, though I'm not too familiar with the author so I'm unsure what counts as his later works.

I should have also mentioned I watched The Legend of the Seeker which is based off the Sword of Truth. It wasn't too bad.
