You can't have the SR71 & YF12 as they are both the same aircraft. Or do you see the Spitfire & the Spitfire as two different aircraft types. The same can be saidfor the Lockheed Lightning & the Lockheed Lightning, and other type used in both reconaissance & fighter/interceptor roles. There are also many other examples of the same airframe type being used in different roles.

This was a good video. There were some planes that weren't on the list and should of. The Space Shuttle being one of the " AirCraft's / Plane's ". The A-12 which was an earlier version of the blackbird ; but used by the CIA was slightly faster then the USAF's version the { SR-71 BlackBird }. But the family of aircraft developed from this program exceeded the needs they were to perform.
