Batman and his not killing rule = less dangerous in a fight, so yes, actually he could be more deadly but he won't, it's the same reason why he doesn't bring more powerful tech in his standard equipment. The best evidence was during his fight against Slade in 2015 or 2016, there is a scene where Slade basically was almost defeated and he could have been killed, but Batman doesn't kill and this was a advantage for Slade to strike back. Even at the begining of the fight Slade basically said: Batman doesn't kill, that's my edge. Batman holds back all the time, many people still underestimate this thing but it's hugely important, especially against some particular enemies. You're not willing to kill? Fine, that's mean you're not willing to win.

There was an interview with John Byrne at least 15 years before The Batman / Captain America crossover was released and he said much the same thing. He said Bats is second to Cap in hand-to-hand but Batman is also the second best escape artist on Earth (behind Mister Miracle), the second best disguise artist on Earth (behind the Human Target), and etc. Batman can do everything to such a high degree he doesn't have to beat you up to beat you.

Mister Miracle is escape artist, Karate Kid is martial artist, Lex Luthor is scientist. But Batman is all in one. He has consumed all knowledge and still can give first rank holder a run for their money. Not to mention he has at least once defeated all of the above at least once. And also holds titles like the greatest detective, the most dangerous man on earth, the greatest crime fighter, the most dangerous vigilante and so and so.

Ever since the new 52, we got an even edgier and more bad-ass fighter out of 10 year old Damian Wayne. We are talking about a kid who can easily take on Deathstroke and even Dick. He was trained everyday from toddler-hood to the age of 10 by the League of Assassins and their leader Ra's al Ghul. himself.While Dick did win the fight against Damian, he was badly injured in the process and Damian has proven he can get the upper hand at times to. Damian should have been on this list and since he would be more willing to at times go further then other Robin's, like Kidnap Jonathan White, Clark (Superman) and Lois White's 10-year-old son, AKA Superboy, that he should have been higher then Nightwing!

I think the list should've been about the most skilled fighters, rather than the best tbh. Pretty sure wonderwoman being able to catch bullets puts her reactions faster than most on this list. Then her stamina and healing factor also means she has more endurance than most. Lastly, if she uses 1% of her striking force and someone like batman blocks it, they should lose every bone in their body. Considering that she can level a mountain

Joseph In one comic Batman went hand to hand with the Karate Kid, the fight was a stalemate for some time the Kid even praised Batman for his skill and his ability to read his opponent, while they were fighting the kid asked Batman what level of Martial artist he was, Batman told him then the kid asked what level do you think he was, the fight stopped right then and there, Batman said nothing else but went back to doing other things the kid just smiled and look disappointed. When asked about it later Batman only stated that the kid was pulling his punches and holding back and that he was not

Remember! Fighting Skills, not Tactics. Fighting is just a part of Martial Arts. Tactics is also a part of Martial Arts but they are not same the same thing. The point is that a fighter must win against an opponent with his fighting skills straight on. Not with tactics. I love Batman too, but there is no way he can defeat KK with his fighting skills. (No weapons. No tactics. No preparation. Just a regular Vale Tudo Beat down)
