Was a decent movie. Visually great, in terms of biblical allusions it was very in-your-face, dialogue was fairly meh, castings were great imo, the mood of the movie was a bit odd for a traditionally hopeful character...but overall I enjoyed it and even if it was 'bad' it was still an enjoyable, unique and memorable film as opposed to a played safe formulaic movie that we often see from the MCU. (im neither a dc or marvel fan, i just like good movies). but yeah the score was good too. Unfortunately though I can't remember the film's score and I think Zimmer has done better work this decade, namely with TDKR, Dunkirk, Interstellar. He'll likely be great on Dune too.

I thought it was forgettable, like many of Desplat's scores are (the only music of his I can actually remember was his Oscar-winning Shape of Water score). He's very atmospheric, and don't get me wrong, that can really serve the movie very well, but it doesn't make for a soundtrack that's interesting on its own. It's difficult to take over a film series from a different composer, especially when the original composer's work is still used, and sounds more interesting and memorable than what you're including. Now John Williams's score for Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone? One of the best scores of that decade. Certainly Williams's best of the decade, and a good showcase of his talents after his career had started fading.

If The Social Network, Mad Max: Fury Road and Blade Runner 2049 don't make the list, I'm gonna jump out a window.

Everything he has done is 100 times better then anything on this embarrassing list that is only filled with movie that made over 100 million dollars so normies will like the video.

Clicked for Daft Punk, but I pretty much agreed with everything else on the list. Well done.

Junkie XL brutally honest which is refreshing to see of anyone critiquing fellow professionals... and the social network is the best by a country mile... just so epic it overshadows an already brilliant movie to its own deathriment

The last samurai, amazing movie with music that draws you into a broken man who finds purpose and something to believe in.
