'Life goes on' -A league of their own. 'Coming home from the sea' - The perfect storm. Great expectations (1998). starship troopers. Dragon' The Bruce Lee story. Edward Scissorhands. Forrest Gump. One of my favorite composers is John Powell, with How To Train Your Dragon being my favorite score but Chicken Run perhaps being his most overlooked.

My Chemical Fallout Killers At The Disco Agreed. Han's score was unquestionably the best thing in that movie. That learning to fly sequence perfectly musically captured Superman. And he created something that complimented the classic William's score rather than trying to mimic it.

Not gonna lie, the Polar Express soundtrack is one of the very few sing alongs that i absolutely love. Maybe it was something about my childhood that made the music and the movie special to me. Subjectively, i feel like thats another underrated soundtrack that people often look over.

Wasn't surprised by it, but Finding Neverland should of been on the list, one of the best film scores ever written, listen to piano variation in blue, or peter. It has an awesome john Barry ish sound and a wide range of music.

Personally, I gotta say that I LOVED Bernard Herrmann's score for "Taxi Driver" very much. I even have the CD soundtrack of the movie already. I also felt the same for Basil Poledouris' score for the original "Conan the Barbarian" as well. They were fantastic!

The thought of having bands produce film scores is brilliant. M83 did great in Oblivion (2013), Daft Punk dod great in Tron: Legacy (2010) and even Mastodon was awesome in Jonah Hex (2010). Filmmakers need to think more about this!

I love the Crystal Chamber sequence in Atlantis because it’s my favorite part in the movie when Kida walks on the water towards the heart of Atlantis. I thought it was beautifully orchestrated, amazing, and very uplifting. Bravo to Mr. James Newton Howard 👏.

Some of my fav scores that don't get enough recognition are The Fifth Element, The Help, Ever After, and Pride and Prejudice. Many people always refer to the music of the latter two films as being an integral part of why they like it, but these scores are not recognized as much as they should be nonetheless.
