I wear a size 11 and have pretty wide feet. The predators didn’t work for me, my toes felt smushed in. Copas worked good for me. A surprise from Adidas was the X crazyfast. It sat somewhere inbetween the preds and the copas in terms of accommodation. But Copas are supreme on this front. Nike, didn’t bother trying the mercurials so no opinion. Tiempos (despite the hate the 10’s get for abandoning k-leather) worked fine for my feet while the Phantom GX2 boot did fit fine but the blade studs felt like they would crack if i put any pressure on them. Puma, the Ultras don’t work. Like, at all. Barely put my foot in one. Futures didn’t work for me for some reason? Maybe it’s just me. Kings are the easy pick for me. They just worked on first try without any problems. I hope this helps someone out there.

boots with and without tongues also play a massive factor. i cant get my foot into a phantom gx but i can easily get it into a X crazy fast with the tongue. sock boots are the main reason why i struggle to find the right boot and feel comfortable after. most boots will stretch after a while but get one with a tongue so you can make it as wide as you need off the bat and not have to wait a month before it moulds around your foot.

@matthewlyashevski4697 most of the cheap boots for most brands have tongues on them but if you want high end ones then I'd go for adidas. Ive had a pair of crazyfasts before with the tongues and they have a stretchy material so they break in really quickly. Adidas seems to be the way forwards for me because all the brands for their high end models are sock boots or tongueless

Predators 2024 are NOT for wide feet. Even if you go half size up its still a no go. There's decent space in the midfoot but forefoot and toebox are ridiculously narrow and will crush your feet/toes. I really dont get why companys do it like that - adidas currently has no option for widefooters...

I recently bought a pair of tiempo 10 pros in AG. They're really wide. I usually fit into new balance 4E or 6E. And the new tiempo 10s molded to my feet like gloves in 3 sessions(90min long)

Found the pro's to be really tight in the toebox. Was pinching my toes, and as it's synthetic I returned it as I didn't think it would stretch. Have yours loosened a bit?

I have a very wide feet and i think the tiempo 9 are better because of the k leather it molds my feet it does hurt my feet in the first time after i break in its better and tiempo 9 is just wider than the 10

Which football boots has the widest soleplate. Not so much that the leather can stretch for your foot to fit in, etc etc. Im talking about the widest soleplate, that you put your foot onto and that your foot (pinky and big toe) doesn’t feel like it’s not on the soleplate, kind of sliding out. Maybe the New Balance Tekela, but honestly nothing is super wide through the toe box area when you’re talking specifically about the soleplate. They all taper and have a rounded off shape

i wanna get sketchers badly i dont like how people have a negative view of the brand as a whole, because form and function theyre some of the best shoes in general on the market used to wear them in my warehouse and retail jobs because they were hella comfortable lightweight and good for 10hr plus walking/standing. Their football boots look good and i can tell they look good quality but i just cant find a retailer near me that carries them, and because of that i dont want to buy them because ideally id like to try them on first

I have really wide feet and I've got the tekela pro low v4, and the I'm not sure about the supposed 2 hour break in time, I've already used them for six 90 min sessions and they still feel like they were out of the box, not great lockdown and just feel really clunky and bad on feet, hoping they'll come good but I'm not convinced

I had the first Tekela, a standard version but made of leather, it is just great. I played more than 100 games in Artificial Grass. So, incredible durability. I am 8.5 us, but a wide fit like a 9us (or more), only for reference.

I’ve been struggling to find some new cleats that fit comfortable 😅 I’ve been using some Nike tiempo legends 8 and they fit nice but I’ve had them for 2 years and they’re starting to tear. In the last month I’ve tried “adidas copa pure 2.1” and “ adidas crazy fast .2” cleats and they fit tight at the mid cleat or mid part of my feet. I wear a size 13 and it’s a struggle finding any in store so I have to order online and hope they fit and if they don’t then return them and re start the process 😅any recommendations on cleats to try for my wide and semi flat feet??

Was really hoping the predator elite would get me back into adidas after 10 years of pumas. Sadly the predator elites seem cheap compared to decades gone and do not recommend anyone with wide feet to purchase these. Blisters and black toes after first use. This is coming from 10 years of pumas I think I'll go back to them as they feel super light and have been great for my wide feet.

Nike released some new coloration their website that says “supple leather” or “supply SYNTHETIC Leather”. Keyword in the synthetic to tell the difference but they were making a good portion before those color ways in synthetic.

Please get your feet measured before going to buy boots. I can’t tell you the amount of people that tell me they have “wide feet” only to measure them as narrows. They’ve just been sizing down so much to accommodate their narrowness they think the shoe is the problem when in reality they don’t know their size.

Hey same person replying to his own post, just sharing my experience with finding the most heel-friendly cleats! The answer is NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND 10 as it has a very low plastic heel counter with the rest of the heel being made of sock-like knit. I have #haglunddysfunction on my heels and it made me unable to wear any other cleats as it would cause immense pain. With NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND 10 there is no issue at all!

Are the predator elites on this video a fair amount wider than the other predators on the market? I just tried a lower pair for $150 at Dicks and they were probably the tights boots I’ve ever tried fitting into. I just want to make sure these ones are an improvement. There’s definitely more width to the Elites compared to the Pros. Compared to the Predator Freaks that you had previously, these will be wider through the mid-foot, but slimmer through the forefoot and toe box area

As someone with wide and flat feet, and having tried a lot of the boots in that list I have to disagree with some of them. This is of course based on my personal experience, yours may differ. The Phantom Gx FG version tapers way too much causing immediate discomfort and pain. The AG version is much better but still a little tight. The regular new balance Tekela+ is very different from the non plus. The sizing is all wrong and the volume is much lower, putting a lot of pressure on top of the toes. For me they were suffocating and unusable. They don't have wide or AG variations in the UK for some reason
