Please order a dwarf 5-6 foot Alaskan cedar. Just kidding. I went with my brother to see some beautiful conifers. I can’t decide between a weeping conifer or a dwarf. I love a weeping white spruce but it gets too tall and so does the Alaskan Cedar but going for green this time. I’ll be waiting. ❤

Love your videos Justin and I agree with you about the colorful beauty of the Flamethrower redbud. I have two of them and two of the Rising sun redbuds and use them as understory plantings to bigger trees in the yard where they still get full day sun, but my favorite of course (living in Bixby. OK)is the Oklahoma Redbud. Those stand alone as specimens.

Fantastic job, thank you!! I just discovered your bideos and i have veen watching throughout the day yesterday, and went to visit the local plant nurseries this morning. Is there a chance you could give us the plan of the evergreens planted in tour froliend's wonderful garden? I whatched those two videos several times, took notes, but still don't know how to create a plan that would match my tiny garden. I bought plants in the padt and had them planted, but we had them pulled out either afraid that the roots would damage the house, some trees damaged in blizzards had to be cut, the two trees left ( builder quality) are ugly and i hate them. Would you provide something planting plans too? I didn't have any luck locally with any specialized advice. Thank you! Great job, wonderful enthusiasm, very inspiring 🌿☘️🌷🌻🌼🏵️🌱☘️🌿

What would you recommend for an inside corner, to fill the inner corner of a tall privacy fence? I've got one corner that gets 6+ hours of sun, and another that gets maybe 6 hours at best.
@mmsanrio9 ай бұрын
Osmanthus, Hinoki Cypress, the evergreens he mentioned here…yew on shady side (toxic to dogs tho). Your local garden shops will know what does best. Hydrangeas for sunny side. If you want a 10’+ privacy wall along your entire fence, go w/ English Laurel. 😊

Hi Justin, I need to fix the desolated front garden on my townhouse front yard. It's very small and long. I was thinking about doing a potted garden and I would like to know if all off the pencil trees could do well in pots. I can't plant them because the gas line runs under the area I need them to create a little privacy. What do you recommend for zone is 6 in Columbus, OH?

I planted a similar redbud just this week, Rising Sun, but it's further out from the corner of my house. Is there something I could put "behind it", right up against the corner?? Just feels so empty, especially since the tree is so small currently! One side of the corner gets full sun and the other part sun/shade. Was thinking a hydrangea, maybe 2 with one on each side of corner?
