Most emotional for me was Robin's response to Humphrey's question about if he missed Humphrey's wife: 'miss many people. But more come along.'

I think the best episode is the burglary one where Mike is all alone and the ghost trying to communicate with him. Also I did shed a tear when they watch Pat's christmas video of his family doing his Christmas dinner tradition.

The burglary was the first episode I watched and then endeared me to them to finish the whole series. My second goes to the Season 4 Christmas episode.❤

Most emotional scene was when Robin named the star after Mary 🥹 and the Captain's death scene especially: -"I had to find you" -"I'm here" -"I..I"-"I know" followed by them calling each other by their first names 😭😭the swaggerstick 😭

One of the most emotional moments in the entire show was when a party was being held and the boy who shot Pat came along and apologised to him at the tree stump that Pat hit with the bus. And Pat forgiving him was so sad. But the thing that made it one of the best moments was when the boy walked through Pat right at the end. It added a made the scene funny and gave us all a reason not to cry.

The saddest scene for me in the UK Ghosts was when the Captain looked out the window and saw his boyfriend, they waved the guy walked down the path and through the front gate to dissappear forever. It still makes me tear up.

One of my favorite moments is in Grey Lady when Pat starts talking into the investigators’ special audio equipment that is supposed to pick up ghost voices, and becomes a DJ interviewing Thomas and even doing commercials.

Lady Button describing the taxidermist's technique of pulling the hide into the "pinch of the anus" had me choking. Plus all her facial expressions just killed me. Martha Howe-Douglas is genius! But they all are actually.

For me personally some of the funniest moments include: Kitty's retelling of her life where the Captain is her father, Alison her sister, Pat a matronly woman, etc. Both hilarious and sweet Humphrey's beheading, the accidental nature tickles me Humphrey being absolutely clueless to the Catholic plot and that history remembers him as a traitor. It feels like a Carry On movie almost. Kitty accidentally watching half of Grease and half of Nightmare on Elm Street thinking they're the same movie. Her face when Alison wishes her goodnight and that Danny visits her dreams kills me every time. The entire April Fools episode. Just all of it. The entire Moon episode with the chanting round the table, the introduction to Friends, and Julian being helpful. Fanny trying to skinny dip Fanny's affair with Humphrey's body ending with Humphrey's body attacking his head. The Top Gun volleyball match with Humphrey's head. Pat telling the Captain to whazz off during the dance the entire episode where burglars break in and the Ghosts try to communicate with Mike Fanny's crush on Mike The Captain trying to save everyone by jumping on a bomb and forgetting his dead. Mary having a traumatic set back with said bomb. It shouldn't be funny but the timing was so brilliant Mary and Robin's kiss. In fact just the entire flashback to that party. The car chase scene The 'Butt Ho' sweatshirt incident Julian messing with Mike's computer while Mike's working Julian trying to escape Button House after he first dies The Ghosts fighting over their neighbour ghost Kitty thinking she's pregnant and making Robin serve her every need .....I really love this show and will miss it.

when mary finally got sucked off. all the ghosts were trying to process it , and they felt that robin was not showing any grief, but he was just greiving in his own way. ( and bollix, now im crying AGAIN just thinking about that scene dammit ! lol )

They are finally showing this in the U.S. -- at least the first two seasons-- but they've cut out so much of the episodes to fit it into the time slot and allow for all the ads. They completely cut out the bear story from Guerilla War. I've had to buy the series from Amazon to see it all, and I hope they put up seasons 4 and 5 eventually. I can't wait!

Oh and my most emotional moment was the Christmas episode of series 2, when Allison wants to sing carols around the piano and none of Mike’s family will join in- but the ghosts do. I watch that over and over.

A US channel is going to start airing this on Thursday night alongside the US version. I can't wait to watch it to see what historical eras it uses in comparison to the US remake.

This is my favourite show at the moment, but explaining the comedy the way this video does suddenly makes all these moments feel really unfunny and flat - the Daddy clips with Mike especially suffered, they were laugh out loud funny originally. Rubbish format, maybe give a little context at the start of each clip but then let them speak for themselves instead of explaining every single detail

One thing they can do is have Alison and Mike or Sam and Jay go on holiday to the other houses and obvs find out the other one can see ghosts. I would prefer if Alison and Mike go to America. We know from Bump in the Night that canonically they can communicate through the phone, so not a stretch to say Alison gifted Julian an iPad then FaceTimes them from Woodstone? Plus you could always have the actors cameo as non ghosts like Mat Baynton did (Actor Pete in Dumb Deaths)

I didnt watch this because it is historically un accurate, there is no way a coloured woman would be in this grand house wearing a grand dress like that. Fed up with the BBC rewriting history. I have coloured skin, and I will not have British history rewritten.

The first black british aristocrat was born on the same year that Kitty apparently was, her name was Elizabeth Dido Belle. Not pretending that it was common but it's not exactly rewriting history for there to be another one.

It’s actually racist white people who have tried to change history by denying that even a single non-white person could have existed in the UK before the 1800s. England was part of the Roman Empire which controlled Northern Africa and had black emperors, it was also controlled by the Vikings who had regular contact with North Africa and Arabia. And of course it began colonising non-white countries in the 1700s. All of these events would have meant a small number of non-white people would likely have made their way here. In Kitty’s case she was born in Jamaica (under British control since the 1600s so way before her time) but was adopted by the Button family who didn’t see her as different because of the colour of her skin because they weren’t racist fools, hence her being a aristocrat. Not that any of this matters anyway, it’s fiction and it’s art, it can take some liberties to ensure everyone is represented which is a good thing after centuries of bigotry and oppression of minorities of all kinds. Even if it was historically inaccurate, which it isn’t, having representation is more important than historical accuracy in a show where a woman can see and talk to a load of ghosts in her house.
