Yo Sam! I'm 17 years old, and I've been watching the Dice Tower since 2011. So really, the Dice Tower has been there most of my life! You guys do more than just review games. You give people an outlet of joy when times are hard. Once I got into gaming, this was the first channel I started watching and I'm still watching eight years later. Over those eight years you have always been there. I don't have a gaming group in my area, so you three ARE my gaming group. You're the people that I can watch to bring out the geek in myself when there are no gamers near me. Not seeing you will be hard, because I'm effectively losing a part of my group. But if God is calling you to this, then that is where you must go! I wish you the best and someday when I can finally make it to a convention and be surrounded by people with similar interests, I hope I meet you. All the best Sam. The Dice Tower was a huge part of my discovering this hobby and learning about a wealth of new games when I first played a designer board game in 2012. Since I’ve discovered my own tastes throughout the years, my opinions rarely match up with the DT Crew but I still tune in to every Top 10 list you guys put out and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of each one! I will miss seeing you on these videos hugely, but wish you all the best with your next venture and hope to see your face pop up in the DT and gaming world in the future!

I only had the pleasure of meeting Sam once but was able to play a couple games with him over the course of CMON expo 2019 and he was a great person to play games with and a very kind individual. I’ll miss him on the dice tower. His banter with zee especially will be impossible to replace

This is the first time l’m watching this and it got me teary eyed. I’ve been watching the DT since 2010 and I think my first board games were Nightfall and Mad Zeppelin. I like how Sam and Zee argues and sometimes they gang-up on Tom. I just rekindled my love of board games and it’s because of the DT. Really going to miss you Sam. I’ve been passionately invested in the hobby for almost 8 years now. I’ve had endless adventures with family friends, shared the joy of gaming with countless others, brought new people into the hobby and had the most fun of my adult life during this time. The content you’ve helped create especially when I was first starting out was invaluable to me. Without it, I would have given up. Let’s face it, it’s a big hobby. Those Top 10’s kept me going. The exposure to games and new avenues of fun meant a ton. And you guys managed to wrap it up in an engaging and entertaining package! Sam is the only one of these cool dudes I haven't met in person yet. Tom was sick as a dog at Origins several years ago, didn't refuse to shake my hand, but graciously warned me how sick he was, so I stopped bothering him immediately. I introduced myself to Zee at Origins in 2014, truthfully told him he was my favorite on the show, and he politely talked to me for a minute or two. Then it has been good year for gaming. I loved so many of the new games I’ve played this year. And other than wingspan, I haven’t played a single game mentioned on this list. There’s a lot that are on my wish list I just haven’t had the ability to go buy them yet. Maybe I’ll get a couple for Christmas.
