Zander Field Mass Effect 2 = No tough choices, no plot, no RPG elements, boring characters, down-graded graphics, less guns and less classes, terrible romance choices, horrendous controls. Assassin's Creed II: Watered down the first game to make it appeal to all the casual nerds. Stupid story, one-dimensional character, too focused on side-missions Dead Space 2: Threw all horror and suspense out of the window, and made another generic character-driven story, ruined Isaac by making him speak. Uncharted 2: Plot made no sense, hated all the new characters, set-pieces and locations that felt incredibly forced together, a nonsensical story and pathetically downgraded and way too easy gunplay. Borderlands 2: Ugh.. I don't even need to say anything, since anyone with half a brain cell could tell how horrible this piece of shit is Portal 2: Fucking annoying Wheatley, predictable twist, less funny writing, way too easy puzzles, felt like a stupid rehash with a way too easy boss battle. Batman Arkham City: Made it an open-world with too many side-missions and villains that were so lazily slapped together and killed off all the characters without giving a shit about the fans. Fucking garbage, hate that game with all my heart. And every stupid, pretentious, racist mentally ill psychopathic unintelligent moronic asshole of a cocksucking whore who likes this trash. ..... ...... ....... ....... ....... ........ Nah, jsut kidding man, ALL these games were huge improvements in every way over their predecessors. I love them all

Why Turok? Maybe you remember Turok for PS3 and Xbox 360, this is made by Propaganda Games and published by Touchstone Games and Disney Interactive Studios. And Propaganda Games belongs to Disney. Ergo, Disney screwed it. But at least Disney just used this franchise and doesn't own it (thanks god!!).

I'm really getting frustrated with all the hate on Mass Effect 3, the ending could have used more scenes but apart from this the whole game was epic. To be honest though, I think people are upset because they didn't get their family friendly disney ending.

I think I'm speaking for a lot of fans here when I say this. I would've been fine with an ending with Shepard dying and whatnot, but the way it was executed, downgrading the Reapers from a force of annihilation to a flawed AI system, and the endings feeling as if they had no meaning (even the extended cut didn't help much), the ending was just poorly executed.

Nope, the main issues with Mass Effect 3 is the lack of meaningful choices. It's either a black or white outcome or it doesn't chance anything. It's still a fun game, but the lack of any real challenge or meaningful choices make it a terrible way to end an epic saga.

Marijn Tak With the extended ending there are more endings. Yes you pick from 3 choices but each choice will be different depending on what you choices throughout the game, and there is a happy ending, the problem is that there is so little scenes that it simply doesn't satisfy. Still the rest of the game was excellent, If the ending was better It would be my favourite Mass Effect, but it's still on pair with ME2 for me.

Extended Cut, at least to me, was abysmal. We waited months for Bioware to make something redeeming and all we got was a few more lines of dialogue and a slideshow. Citadel DLC should have been the end of the game, period.

It failed to show us the fate of everyone, but compensated with being just so... touching. I'm not gonna lie here, I cried. And not just the first time around.

Andrew Turrington Spyro was handed over from Insomniac (who made Spyro The Dragon through to Spyro 3) to Vivendi (who made the trilogy "The Legend Of Spyro"), and then Vivendi kind of merged with Activision and they made "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure" out of him, which then turned into the Skylanders franchise. Spyro stopped being good after Spyro 3 imo... and Spyro was rebooted after "A Hero's Tale" and "Enter The Dragonfly" to "The Legend Of Spyro" trilogy. The same thing sort of happened to Crash Bandicoot - Naughty Dog lost the license to it and Sony and Activision took over.

I refuse to play ttk because of the price and how ttk was supposed to be what destiny was like and let me tell you there is absolutely nothing to do if you don't have the expansions. your limited to 3 crucible game modes crucible in itself is hell, then you cant level up beyond 34. there forcing you to buy the expansion packs or fuck off. compare destiny to halo. Both buy the same company destiny was with activision and bungie did there own thing with halo. you tell me what was a better game? bungie has lost a lot of men staff wise and fans because they rushed destiny out to the world. we see the same thing with call of duty, same game just a year later, hell even with different companies and still get the same game. guess the similarity? I think Paper Mario sticker: star ruined the paper mario franchise. It completely took away the its famous gameplay elements that people who first the first two paper mario games in the series loved. It's sad that sticker star had to be this way.

Ever since Modern Warfare 3, it seems that the Call of Duty games got dull. And here's the reason: Level design. Most problems with the multi-player was that the levels were relatively small, and then they were generic as a bottomless pit in a Mario game. This is what made Modern Warfare 2 great, the maps were unique, and you had plenty of space and areas to gain tactical advantage.

Why would they. Think about it. When the PS4 and Xbox One came out in November and up until February 2014 Call of Duty Ghosts was the best selling game on both platforms. This shows people may be bitching about the fact that they never change the game but people buy it anyway. So Activision decided why change if people are still gonna fork out money near $60 for the game each year why bother changing it. And that isn't including the extra $40 for the hardened and or the extra $40 for the season pass.

+Karthus Fable 3 was a freaking abomination. Fable TLC was amazing(Fable 1 was good too but way too short). Fable 2 was really fun despite the terrible ending and the DLC was cool and it had alot of replayability and things to do in the world. Fable 3 was just awful. Tons of glitches and nothing to do in the world after completing all quest. Combat was crap. It took everything good about Fable TLC and Fable 2 and threw them out the window. Only Fable I haven't played through twice after completing with my good character. I mean, randomly generated legendary weapons? WTF?!

I almost didn't finish Revelations. We had seen too much of Ezio, there weren't enough assassination missions (there was only, like, two or three), the story wasn't on par with the previous entries, and (what pisses me off the most) there wasn't enough Altair! They had it built up in my mind that there would be a lot of stuff to do as him, but it was only a few missions! Could they really not think of more stories to tell with him?

Fable 1 was amazing in that your choices effected the game. From how people reacted to you to what weapons you aquired. Also, fighting Jack's dragon form is always a plus. Now, remove the choice system, the epic boss fights, and put lackluster story and dialogs, and you get the disaster of Fable 3. It doesn't help that I got 100% in under 12 hours...

Sonic Unleashed was pretty awesome too. Also, Sonic '06 did not kill the franchise. It was bad but it wasn't one of the worst games ever. Besides glitches and the infamous kiss, the story wasn't too bad. And I never had any problems with glitches, so that makes me think that people sometimes seek out glitches. Sonic and the Secret Rings didn't kill it either. And Sonic and the Black Knight was a pretty decent game. So I would say that Sonic is still and has been going strong.

well, if what you're about Resident Evil is as WatchMojo defined about sales, sequels, and issues, then I really don't understand what you mean. By "Past 4" I can assume you are talking about 5 and onwards, but 5 sold over 6.5 million units (which I don't believe is including the PC edition or the Gold Version). And while 6 had issues with the pacing, camera, and questionable changes to gameplay, It didn't have as nearly as many issues with its engine or technical aspects like shown in the list. With that being said it still sold 5.2 mill. Also, the games before the "RE4 border" weren't all shining gems. Resident Evil Gaiden was a joke, Outbreak had absolutely terrible AI, and was panned by critics, and I shouldn't even mention RE: Survival and Gun Survivor. Hell, The Resident Evil Remake, which the classic fans cherish like our firstborn, actually had lackluster sales. If not for RERemake then Re4 would have been what people call RE 3.5, which is basically Leon's trippy dream. But if what you are saying that the games after 4 are bad because of the more action switch... then your logic is about as sound as an alcoholic blaming his addiction on the beer company for making their beer so tasty. You're blaming a series for changing... but making an exception for the game that started the change? Its the actions of RE4 that "Ruined" the franchise. But, even if they didn't make the change, RE would still be done for because of the changing market. Selling games in a franchise is like the American Political system. If a candidate can secure every vote from his or her party, they'll still lose because they isolate the rest of the spectrum. A company can tailor the game exclusively to your fans, but it'll flop because of the isolation of the rest of the market. Either way, MGR took a drastic turn from the rest of the MGS series, but people aren't crying over the series being ruined.

***** Mass Effect 3 and the problem I and a lot of other people had with ME3 was for one the ending, it's almost literally the exact same ending just with a different colour filter over everything. Plus in ME2 if you look around and read a lot of the text about some of the planets/stars and what not they very very clearly make references to Dark Matter and how it could be an even bigger threat than the Reapers and infact the original plan for ME3's story was going to be something along the lines of Shepard talking to the Reapers/what controlled them and discovering that what the Reapers were actually doing was gathering species in a sort of Noah's Ark kind of thing to try and escape the coming disaster relating to the Dark Matter. However parts of the story got leaked during the game's creation and Bioware (or probably/more likely EA) made the stupidest decision they could and decided that because the story got leaked they would end it in a completely different way that had absolutely nothing to do with the hidden threat they'd been hinting at for two games.

A lot of people have made true statements, but Call of Duty really doesn't deserve to be on this list, and it probably will never be on a list like this. Simply put Activision brings in millions off of Call of Duty each year, and its pretty much the corner stone of the developer. Does it mean that its the best because it makes the most money? No. Does it mean its successful? Fuck yea it does. Success is measured in units sold and money earned, not by how much a few people one the internet hate or enjoy it. Simply put, come this fall, easily half the people in this comment section will buy the next Call of Duty game, and even more will play it still. Pokemon X and Y for a couple of reasons: 1.) They got rid of the bird's eye view and overworld and replaced it with a 3d world, which takes away the feeling of a pokemon game completely. When I think of pokemon, I think of a small sprite running in an overworld, not a 3rd person view. Now there is little to no enviornmental puzzles like mazes because of the lack of a top down field of view. It made places in the reigon bland and generic, which is not a great feature. 2.) The game was too easy. The Exp. share, the pitifully weak gym leaders, the horrid Team Flare, rivals, champion and the elite 4 made the game not challenging enough. You can go from 3 towns to another and the wild pokemon would grow 2 or 3 levels max. Grinding may be annoying, but it has been in the franchise since day 1, and I hate to see it go away. 3.) Cruddy new pokemon. Since the Kalos reigon has the lowest amount of new pokemon in it, to compensate GameFreak must make most of them really great. But sadly, most of them are meh. Like come on, do we really need a keychain pokemon? And a pikachu look alike that no one ever uses? 4). Rushed storyline. There was little to no explanation to the superweapon that Lysandre used in the end of the game, and it was thrown at you all at once. Not to mention the random appearance of Xerneas/Yveatle in the Team Flare Base. On top of all of that, there were so many irrelivant elements to the story that could be skipped and would make the game no different, like the mansion in the first half of the game for example. 5). Team Flare's laziness and overall sucky attempts at crimes. The admins in the orginazation don't even have any names, which makes them EXTREMELY unforgettable. Team Galactic had names, so didn't Neo Team Rocket, and Plasma. Why couldn't they give them a name? Also, Team Flare didn't do anything for the first half of the game, and sprung a ton of random things toward the end of the adventure on you. That's not right. 6). The pokemon cries suck. The "remastered" cries of the pokemon in the past games are butchered beyond belief. Some of them (onix comes to mind) are almost unreckonizable. The cries are VERY important to the personality of a pokemon, and by slaughtering them you ruin their charm. 7.) No cool character cusomization. I don't know if it is just me, but having a cape and an epic hair style would be something I would be interested in. But all they have is "modern" clothes that look very bland. 8.)Unmemorable reigon. I can name almost every city and theme in all the other 5 generations of pokemon if you show them to me, but in Kalos, I can remember like two. The music and design of the locations in the game are poor, and they lead to people forgetting them,people like me. 9.) How Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire are going to have the same issues, which is sad, because I REALLY wanted for them to be good games, but I guess they will be mediocre at best. ... Angel of darkness did NOT kill tomb raider. First off, it had some of the highest sales in the series history. Second, reviews were mixed, yes, but later down the road, fans appreciated the game. Third, Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary started development PRIOR to release. Yes, its true. Legend was in concept phase by Crystal, and Anniversary was in concept by core. This was revealed not long ago actually. A real game that ruined a series was Resident Evil 4. As good as it was, the games after, only a fool would call it "resident evil". Additionally, where is Spyro Enter The Dragonfly? That game was so bad, it caused Spyro A Heros Tail to be completely different and caused a reboot after.

Yeah, core really effed up with angel of darkness. The game making was too rushed and they kept changing it. Furthermore, they were producing while also making last revelation and chronicles. Even further, they felt out matched by other titles and sold their souls to match their themes rather than remaining original. Thank god for crystal dynamics and their reboot. I'm not especially thrilled with square right now, but I have to admit they did a decent job with the second reboot too.
