So glad you gave Curlewis a shout out. I played it Sept whilst visiting the Bellarine from NZ. Awesome track with great playing surfaces. Honorable mentions to Lonsdale and Queenscliffe. Thought Sandy Links was exceptional as well and fittingly ranked. Port Fairy on the bucket list for the next visit!

@@clintbarclay423 Yep, Curlewis is a nice track. Got a bit of a sandbelt feel to it too. Lonsdale is brilliant although more than $100 generally. Port Fairy is a must at some stage. Such a great course and there is still a ‘no fuss’ element to the place which I love.

Nhill Golf Course at $30 for all day. Totally underated course. Fantastic to play and has held VGA Senior Amatuers, Vic-SA Challenges, Wimmera Pennant Finals and the Jim Bates Memorial.

As a Perth Golfer who has played the Cut, you have to be straight, get off the fairway and your ball is probably gone, not for high handicappers. Meadow Springs is a really nice course and has some really nice holes. Nice challenge without being overally hard. Araluen is another that should have been on here, great course for under a hundred.

Haven’t played Araluen. It has a spectacular downhill par-3, is that right?

@@underthecard it surely does. I'm not sure that the 16th is the most speccy hole on the course though. It's set in the 'enchanted valley' and surrounded by national park.

Surprised Growling Frog doesn’t make the cut on this list. Excellent Graham Marsh layout, strong par 72 with length up to near 6200m & a mix of really interesting holes. My experience was excellent conditions & green fees under $50. It is a steal & a lot of fun.
