I would consider taking out my dad for that ultimate "dad guitar", lol. Not really, just love the Les Paul. Ever since witnessing Ace Frehley blow my mind with his 1974 Heritage Cherry Burst Les Paul Custom. I later found that he used DiMarzio pickups, a DP100 at the bridge and DP103s in the mid and neck positions and square "pearloid" Grover Tuning Machines to enhance the overall look. Never been able to afford a true Les Paul Custom much less what became known as The Budokan Les Paul.
