Yeah, half the matches had no stakes attached to it as well. I get that the first ever IPL match is very important but it was extremely one sided and had no qualification stakes like we've seen with other great matches.

This was the best thing to happen for the sport when it first came out in 2008, and it felt good for 4-5 years to follow.
