I love Top Gun: Maverick. I think why it became such a success, was because of both nostalgia, and because everything was mostly done with practical effects. Like having the actors up on actual F-18s, with cameras in the cockpits, getting the real deal of the G-forces on pilots, and not in some mock-up in a sound stages using green screens and CGI (of course some had to be used for certain scenes). As someone growing up with practical effects, I'm getting tired of movies made nearly only with green screens and CGI in sound stages, so this movie was a gift.

Totally agree. 4 was amazing & 'open paddock 9' is the 💩 childhood is made of BUT 5 & 6 could & should have taken time to come up with a better continuation & finishing story. Perhaps have the finale end with a Lizard style airborne virus that removes the dinosaurs

I’m sorry, I just had to stop this video at #5 because as someone who loved the Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield while also hated the MCU, the movie SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME made me a suicidal mess. And if anything, we were robbed of real closures for Tobey and Andrew in their film franchises that shouldn’t have been in the MCU. If their franchises do continue as the petitions and campaigns have been calling for, then hopefully the events of NO WAY HOME won’t be canon.

I may not like Disney's Star Wars nor its Sequel Trilogy, But i will give Episode VII some points and credit for bringing up some new and interesting ideas to the SW franchise, mythology, and legacy. (And at least it was completely different from its upsetting side quest filler follow-up that was Ep.VIII:The Last Jedi and its disappointing mess that was Ep.IX:The Rise Of Skywalker)

I personally think Fury Road or Creed should be #1. For me personally I felt Top Gun Maverick copied exact beats to the original until the end, still great movie but I didn’t feel like I got something new out of it. While Creed was similar to the first Rocky, the different dynamics and camera work to get the fights made it different enough for it to be amazing.

Men in black mixed sci-fy ideas with satirical comentary but is mostly a comedy. Hell even something like everything everywhere all at once that despite a shit load of tone changes and subrealist moments, is an existencial drama that focus in a lot of real life issues. Ghostbuster is basically a giant SNL sketch, with SNL stars, set in a fantasy world, hell and just like cartoons they survive a giant explosion at the end like looney tunes character after fighting a FCKING marshmellow giant, you will never find this type of absurd humor in the reboot because "is not realistic and it take away the takes" wich for a any other movie would be a problem but for ghostbusters that what they are know for, these were never role models this were chainsmoker jerk that started this hole bussiness because of money and cons, friggin Bill Murray admited they are basically con artists in the first movie. You will never find con artist in the reboots, because "woman and children are too pure to see character with flaws as them." Thats hollywood's PC mentality for the last 20 years

The trilogy as a whole is hot garbage, but I can't lump the force awakens in with episodes 8 and 9. It was a great return to the star wars universe. They just didn't have a clear cut plan and the 2 movies after that one crippled the franchise that up until that point was the most beloved franchise in movie history.
