Lin is literally the best. Everything he does turns to gold. As a girl who loves musical theatre so much, I have always wanted to meet him because I feel like we have a lot of things in common (except I am not a composer but I am a writer, lyricist, and performer). I'm also trying to turn Lin's movie, "Vivo" into a Broadway musical because that film deserves better, I love it so much, and it's mostly because I want to thank Lin for bringing it to life with his passion. I'm doing this for him. It would be a dream come true if he knew about my future musical based on his own movie. (I wrote the full script and the lyrics to 17 original songs at age 14 and I'm turning 15 in one month!) So yes, I have my confidence. Thank you, Lin Manuel Miranda for everything. Your music brought my sister and me together, and your kindness makes me want to meet you more. And I'm trying to make "Vivo" into a Broadway musical because of you.

This is no joke! Aside from being addictive, his music can be cathartic too. I went through the obsession after the soundtrack release, but actually seeing it on Disneyplus renewed my overall ten fold. It became kind of my blanket after losing my Grandmother, who raised me, to Covid on Mother's Day 2020. Truly, for the next year it was a constant earworm.

This was great and really helpful. I came across Lin for the first time watching "Mary Poppins Returns," enchanting, which I re-watched this afternoon and immediately fell in love with him allover again. Then I saw him in "His Dark Materials" and then found out that he'd directed "tick tick BOOM!" which is my favourite musical in ages and then that he wrote "Hamilton." And then, there's all these other things to check out. What a guy and what a talent and, on a totally shallow level, I prefer him with really short hair, but then, that's the case with guys in general. Can't wait to dive into some of these other options and find out more!

OMG I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH! I sing it all the time, and it's all fun and games until I have to hold the last notes at the end of the song and I run out of breath. Lin truly shines in that song, and sometimes I want to perform it so badly even though I'm literally a girl, because the song is so underrated and it needs more love. Whenever I sing that song, I feel like I'm showing my true emotions, I almost start crying, I have fun, and it feels like I'm embracing myself. That was what made my singing voice stronger.
