I think they're trying to separate hard rock from metal, numetal etc. But those are all amazing bands. Honestly Mars Volta and wolf mother in confused why they're on here. Most of your list is amazing and considered hard rock now but back then they were considered metal or nu metal,. Three days grace for sure should've been not an honorable mention though.

Pleasantly surprised QOTSA was actually their #1 pick. Seriously, given the brilliance of 2013's Like Clockwork (their best ever, for my $) & 2017's Villains, they'd have an argument for the 2010's list as well. Also pleasantly surprises @ the badass The Mars Volta's inclusion on the list. Sadly, those 2 are the only ones who would be on MY list (but I consider In Flames circa 2000s a hard rock/metal band instead of any form of death metal, where many put them).

My top 10 from 1 to 10 are: 1. Disturbed 2. Limp Bizkit 3. Korn 4. Linkin Park 5. System of a Down 6. POD 7. Chevelle 8. Godsmack 9. Powerman 5000 10. Evanescence I think Slipknot are more metal than hard rock! But there are some Christian bands that deserve some mention, no matter what u think about religion, but there are others besides for POD! There’s 12 Stones, Skillet, Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Project 86! Those are the main ones that fit in with hard rock

While every band mentioned in this video has earned consideration, Blackbird by Alter Bridge has to be one of the most underrated rock albums of this century so far. It is an album where I honestly think any of the songs could have been chosen as singles, let alone ones people really loved like Rise Today or Blackbird.
