Years ago, I spent about a month trying to pass #1 on expert. I was finally able to get through it with about 82-83% notes hit. That's why I know that anyone who legitimately gets 100% on that song, isn't even human.

JORDAN is way fucking harder than FIRE AND THE FLAMES. Because comparing how forgiving GH3 is compared to GH2 with note timing, it's nearly impossible as a difference. GH2 is in every way much harder in general than GH3 where they introduced the new system for "it's ok if you don't play as good anymore you'll still hit the notes"

Sodapop Miller TTFATF is mostly very easy parts. The into for example, stupidly simple. Most parts follow simple patterns that when slowed down you can clearly see and practice until you can speed it up fully. Playing Jordan on even the SLOWEST speed is a huge pain in the ass and you can't really see many patterns, since well, there aren't really any (it's controled chaos)

ttfaf is hard on hard its pretty much the only song i cant beat on hard mode. its pretty muc the begining i cant get right my fingers always cramp and then i fail so you can say i suck but from watching the track on each song i can tell ttfaf is harder but once you learn the pattern you should be fine. Yeah, I was actually surprised that Sudden Death was on. I personally would've chosen This Day We Fight or Speeding in its place (as I suck at both). *But*, bare in mind we have to choose songs from a handful of selected few. It's all down to personal preference, what you can and can't hit/beat. I think it's a decent list, a little cliche considering it's been done before with the exact same songs (give or take), though not to my personal preference.

One hard song you can include is Some Might Say by Oasis. The difficulty in that song is the guitar parts are played off beat on purpose. So you need plenty of practice and flexible fingers for that song. And the guitar parts are played off beat because the guitarist likes to chalange himself.

Free bird is overrated in difficulty, and hot for teacher is no where near as hard as anything else on this list because every other song on the list is hard through out the song, where as the intro and the solo to hot for teacher is somewhat hard.

And yet another list with TTFAF on the top, seriously, it's hard, but it isn't the hardest, once you'll learn intro hammerons, it's easy to pass and I frequently achieve four stars on it (for 5 stars I need to slow it down to at least 90%, because still many sections are crazy). Personally I think The Devil Went Down To Georgia is a bit harder, solos are harder to memorize with fingers and there are many sections which require huge skill in fast reading the chart because, damn this song is fast, many parts are even faster than TTFAF. Tremollo picking above 20 nps, good luck keyboard style players (yeah, it's pretty impossible on keyboard since you don't have rake strumming). Still, I manage to get 4 stars on it pretty consistently, but in my opinion it's much harder than TTFAF. Hardest songs from this list are in my opinion Black Widow of La Porte and Eruption. I never got 4 stars on neither of this, Eruption is filled with insane ascending triplets patterns (which I find harder than descending) and I even sometimes fail on it. Black Widow of La Porte is similar to The Devil Went Down To Georia, but much harder in terms of patterns and it requires even more endurance. Also I think One is overrated as hell, sure. It's almost impossible to FC due to fast solo A, but beside that it isn't that hard song. Slow part is easy and I rarely fail on that, Darness riff is harder but still it's possible to learn this and doing it perfectly almost every time. I get 5 stars on this one easily. Satch Boogie also does not belong to top 10. The "macabre" solo D part is a child's play once you'll learn to tremolo tap (it's easy to tremolo tap this, since higher note does not change at all) and rest is quite hard but very easy to pass and even get 5 stars. Tl;Dr 1. Eruption 2. Black Widow of La Porte 3. Jordan (probably, I've never played gh2) 4. The Devil Went Down To Georgia 5. Spanish Fly (it's easier Eruption) 6. Through The Fire And Flames 7. Fury Of The Storm 8. Raining Blood 9. Before I Forget (split chord snake is a killer and rest is quite difficult) 10. Sudden Death
